But what did TKF "I told you so" about what? Complaining about Carmelo at every turn even though the Knicks are off to their best start since 1993-94. Tell me how is that warranted? I remember that 1994 season. I phucking loved that whole squad from Ewing and Oak all the way to freakin useless Eric Anderson. It's like hating on Patrick Ewing for 30 thread pages when you have the best record in the East. How is that warranted, Bonn?

There was a piece of data (1 game) that was consistent with his view and he discussed it. We beat the best team by 20 points without Melo. If the reverse happened (we had lost to the worst team in the league by 20 points without Melo), I'm sure we'd see lots of "I told you so" comments too. And they'd probably be worded much more harshly (comments like "sabermetrics is bull****")

"I told you so"s are just an inherent part of message board posting. I don't view it it terms of right and wrong.

But didn't we beat the best team with Melo by 20 also?

Yeah, so if we use those two games as the sole evidence (and I'm not suggesting we should but you brought it up), the conclusion would be zero net impact of Melo.

Felton has been amazing. He is fearless and I was sure that he would have to come out when Haslem smacked his bruised thumb. The guy is a warrior.

So if we toss out those 2 games, we're still 12-4 with Melo leading the way right?

In true fairness it should be less than Zero, the 20 point win on the road should be weighed more than the 20 point win at home. Road win should get .386809877975 added to it in Rube Goldberg adding machine..... eventually making a burnt piece of toast.

Interesting take but Knicks had Felton as a stop gap and were going to go after CP3. Then Walsh left and Grunwald traded for Tyson. But it worked out great for the Knicks at $4mil per

Felton was a stopgap, but we weren't getting CP3. Ultimately Felton was proving to be good enough to resign for a large contract at the time.

I am still not sold on Felton (I am still a big supporter of him) - But he is shooting a lot and scoring a lot but very low efficiency recently. I know he is being asked to carry the load and playing hurt but his decision making is still questionable.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!
