If STAT comes back into the starting lineup I think it would be smart to keep Kidd at the 2. I think that'll be the best way to get Melo/STAT/Chandler going while on the court together.

In sept when everyone where saying we were old, or could we stay healthy, Chris bosh was one of the only players in the league to acknowledge how dangerous we were...he looked at us as there biggest challenge.

while melo may be our most talented player, kidd, felton, tyson, and sheed have big time leadership attributes that make all the difference..

But imo...the #1 thing that trumps it all.....EVERYBODY KNOWS THERE ROLE..

no wrrying about contracts, playing time, shots, trades, off court drama, coaches on the hot seat, nobody is just happy to be here, and the communication is flowing like a stream..not to mention role players stepping up when needed..

Woody spent $ out of his pocket flying around the country to have one on ones with his roster making sure these guys were preparing correctly..

So while most teams had a 4 wk training camp( a few got toghether a wk before camp) the knicks essentially had an 8 wk camp..

And by all means it shows big time...

When guys take a pay cut to play somewhere you know its all about the ring
