Patrick had this towards the end of his run with the Knicks. It was the first time I ever heard of plantar fascitis. I think Camby is going to be out for long time to come.

JesseDark - Camby's absense depends on the severity of the tear. The fact that Marcus tried to play through it is encouraging. As someone who suffered it while playing tennis, it is no joke. When you run, it feels like someone driving a large nail through your heel. Plantar fasciitis comes in varying shades of ouch.

Camby will receive excellent care. Hopefully, the treatment will have him pain free in time to get his timing back... preferably before Valentine's Day.

we toss out 2nd round picks where other teams build dynasties with them. Spurs stash players and let the assets grow.

One way to make this right is to win!!!!

teams make mistakes. At 12-4 they get a pass. The future belongs to the the future. KNicks are about the NOW!

Sounds very mild. Camby was not brought here to play 30 minutes. If anything happens to Chandler Camby Rasheed and Amare can split the time.

I remember when Camby had this the first time he was with us- if I remember correctly he played through it. Nowadays teams seem to refuse to play guys who get it for most of the season, but I don't think doing that clears it up any quicker.

Hopefully he can play through it a second time- I just want so see Amar'e and Camby playing together- I've been wanting to see that for 10 years!

You probably heal a lot faster in your 20s from this thing than your 40s. It took Ewing forever so we will see. If we can get anything from Camby the last few weeks of the season going into the playoffs it would be great. If not see ya next year

Yeah, but the important thing is that the first time he played through it as it wasn't going to heal any time soon. It lingers for months- the only issue is if he can put up with the pain.

Rasheed also suffered from this in Detroit.
