I guess having Jerry Novak, I mean Stackhouse, gives BK the edge over the Knicks. Worst record, easier schedule, healthier team...that's the only reason I can think of.

Melo got ECF player of the month.

Figured someone is brozing the statue by now?

Avery vs. Woody? Yeah, Wood should have gotten it but Nets did beat us. I guess the Homeristic NetPHobic power rating does not figure.

Im amazed how nobody gives the nets any credit, the simple assertion that we "Lost" or "ran out of guesto" as not a simple factor that Nets got the win and we did not!

Power rating, I guess Stern gets final say and since Knick fans boo him year after year at the draft he finds small ways to stick it to us.

Last laugh?

Stern gets it. Not until he has to give the championship trophy to Dolan!

Imagine that.

I would love that. That would be Awkward Moments times infinity! He'd probably just let Isaiah take the mic.

Only thing more awkward would be Stern handing Pops the trophy!

Woodson deserved it. But in all fairness, it's not totally shocking that Avery Johnson got it.

Totally agree. Nets have played Orlando 3 times already and the first month just ended. Knicks have had the harder schedule, injuries, and have the better record. Stern is promoting Brooklyn.

the lost to the lakers and GSW(who is playing well), they beat the clippers and portland.. we played Hous,Dallas, memphis and the spurs.... I don't think the nets are going away... they are as good as we are, if you expect the knicks to be in the hunt, I see no reason why we should feel the nets are just going to go away... they are 11-5, where do you expect them to be 8-8?

never said they were bad we are just better i feel

but if they come back down to earth, as you stated, where did you expect them to be? I understand you feel we are better, but there isn't much proof of that at this point...

They were one spot ahead of us. Big whoo.

Stern really has his hand in this?

Is it arbitrary or numeric? Looked numeric to me.

Lots more ratings ahead, its a weekly thing.

They have had a much easier schedule. i mean when they played the heat they got demolished. I feel we are much deeper when our guys come back also we have better defesnive players and we dont turn the ball over

Though Philly's schedule has been extremely weak. Its arguable that Doug Collins deserves coach of the month. His decision to put the ball in Holidays hands and let him be the playmaker has really paid off. They were 10-6 for the month of November while playing without Bynum.

He's done it four times already. He should be used to it by now.

Now handing Little Jimmy the trophy. On his final year as commish no less...

The Nets have won. That is all that matters. They should be in the hunt all year just like the Knicks. I agree with you. If and when they start losing or struggling against the better teams then I may change my mind but for now they are getting the job done.

yea, I can't say I am surprised where they are... 11-5 looks great early, but that is only 6 games above .500, the nets have talent, and 11-5 is not surprising... as you said, see how both teams do vs the better teams in the league, that will be the true measuring stick I guess..

Let's see how they fair without Bropez/with a Brokepez. Should be interesting.
