You can have another player go 7 for 44 in that stretch and you're still getting 50% FG shooting from Tyson and that player. Whenever a teammate has a bad shooting performance, Tyson's efficiency basically erases that performance.

It takes 7 to 14 days to get over a cold. I'd imagine it's at least as long for a bad case of the flu. Next year, the team is going to have to tie Tyson down and simply force him to get a flu shot if he won't voluntarily get one. Maybe a body as big as his needs 2 or 3 flu shots!

In comparison, you really see how much the knicks lose when FluChandler shows up.

It's also awesome to know that his team held the fort while he was getting right.

he's a stud... Breen said it today, "he cleans up the mess" or something like that. He gets his and doesn't have to be featured. At all. That is so incredibly rare and awesome. He fits in perfectly with a guy like Melo who needs the ball to be at his most useful.

The key for him isn't FG%. That's always been good for his career.

It's his rebounding that needs more work.

This guy has been a monster--complete under the radar. We took 41 3's which might be 11-15 too many and Tyson saved us and it was quiet. 18-17 is enormous. Hes been great for the most part this year. I think when we get Amare back--a few more high% plays should be there for him as well--teams have to guard the 3 point line so the bigs should get a lot of space.

Yes exactly can't wait til Amare gets back and balances this thing out. Knicks will be lethal offensively

Tyson Chandler’s TS% in this game was .765.

This raised his TS% on the season by one point, to .753, which would demolish his own single-season record of .708 set last year.

He has 213 points on 111 FGA.

His FG% on the season is now .721. The all-time single season record is Wilt Chamberlain in 1972-73 with .727. Serge Ibaka ranks second in the NBA at .595.

He’s averaged 16.6 PPG over his last 8 games.
