Lin's new superagency from D.C. steered him out of NYC. By miscalculating. Didn't see Felton as alternative. Lin wanted to stay. Believe it.

Hmm, so it seems we've narrowed it down to either god or Lin's agent- Apparantly Lin played no part, he is an innocent victim. For f***s sake why can't he just accept responsibility for his own damn actions?!

Am I the only one that came to a place before in life where I said "I'll just put the results in God's hands" ?????

What actions? You are acting like what he did was wrong. Note this is directed towards smackeddog, not playa... Anyway, he got a better offer from Houston, before he signed anything, so he took that. I am sorry, but I cannot fault him for that. Whether there was an initial agreement, who knows, but he's still allowed to look more. Good for him.

I hope the OJ Mayo thing hasn't started a new trait where mid-to-low-level guards start having career games against us instead of forwards, like last year.

Wow, losers really do live in the past...

He didn't do anything wrong, that's not what my issue is, it's the fact he refuses to acknowledge his role at all and keeps making out he's a victim. It's not like a meteor fell on his house- he chose to agree to a higher offer- no shame in that, but don't make out it was someone else's doing or you had no part in what happened.

In that case I agree. In a sense, he could also be intentionally or unintentionally blaming God if you look at it like that.

I still like Toney - he unfortunately sealed his fate with one of the worst surprise years I've ever seen, but he's an NBA player when it comes down to it. I still want to see him salvage his career, but not against (or with) us.

I still like TD and hope he turns it around too, but for as long as I can remember we've been torched by a 'scrub of the game' (can't remember if TKF invented that phrase)- last game it was Vince Carter- if this team is serious about taking pride in its defense we can't put up with it any more!

So far Lin has proven me right and I don't think anything changes tonight when we play. I think Felton and Prigs will continye to turn Lin into a jump shooting brick machine. Keep Lin out of the paint and he's pretty useless right now.

TD = Eisley..

Loved lin, especially since i got to see him in person front row in his 2nd start at the wiz house last yr.

If lin was on this team instead of felton, he would still benefit from the knicks early workouts, our new shooting coach, jason kidds knowledge along with the rest of the vets, woodson's defensive philosophies..Circumstances would be different, and Felton (the portland player) would be fresh in your mind.

BTW no national network thought this game was popular enough to put on NATV..LINSANITY has gone flat line

I know Felton says its not about Lin and I think he is being honest. However, he has to be pretty amped up to go against him tonight.

I agree with with everything you said but Raymond Felton has been playing great and it has worked out in the Knicks favor so far. As opposed to living with the growing pains of a young PG trying to lead a veteran team. Rondo is an exception i guess

This is why I wanted him. Ppl don't realize Mayo was supposed to be a star. He was one of the most heralded High School players of all time. He always had the talent, it was the mental issues that were the problem, but this is no Jeremey Lin out of the blue type thing, ppl who knew abt him KNEW he had the talent. Thats why I wanted to take a chance on him.

How much did Mayo get? I bet more than JR's $2.5mil. Knicks already had some familiarity with JR. It would've been hard to replace JR with another player with a similar reputation

Lins IQ is pretty high, just needs the right fit..

Yes he sees the entire floor better and is a better passer whereas Felton zero's in on pick n rolls effectively but misses open guys. Felton is a better fit for these Knicks physically and experience-wise
