it is nice to not have a mega slow start to a season.
not always play from behind, and now even if they do, they have found ways to win.
some signs they are adapting to what other teams are doing.
solid defense for the most part.

It's great that's we're playing so well without Shump and Amare. Melo is getting his points, but his play and persona seem to be blending in with the success of the team. He's obviously the star, but does it seem to anyone like he's been the dominant figure? This team has been just that thus far....a TEAM. If they win like this all season and finish with 50+ wins Woody has to be coach of the year and Grunwald GM of the year.

Melo can get mauled and clobbered with no calls and shoot a good old 3-12 or whatever and it wouldn't even matter because our D is there no matter what. Every possession counts tho and the refs cannot call everything against us. So either way we win. By a lot of points. We have had how many blowouts now? Hehe, I dunno, who was counting?

Prigs, he likes passing! He is getting burn despite his rookie status! He seems to be maintaining his composure despite negative vibes from the UK board!

Cambyman's got a block!

At this point 3 years ago, we were 1 - 7 and had three double digit losses already!

It would seem no one actually felt the need to mention that with Danny Granger on the floor, we would have lost by 30!

Would like to see us with a healthy Stat and Shump play that Memphis team again!

Rasheed, Camby, and KT, are great options to have off the bench. Now and come playoff time.

Love the way Brewer is playing so far- he has a great attitude and work ethic, and stats aside, seems to be part of several important game changing plays every game.

Back in the offseason I thought Kidd was done and was a pointless signing and am pleased to have been proved completely wrong so far.

By far the most likeable Knick team in years- I don't have a problem with anyone on this team- an easy bunch to root for.

well you were not so much down on kidd as you were some of the other guys , I said a while back that if kidd can turn back the clock every 4th game or so, the knicks should be fine, you pretty much agreed with that... so far he is playing well... the key is, I don't expect this type of play all of the time, but I will take it in spurts... keep his minutes in check and he should be ok...

I love the new accountability and responsibility that this team is displaying.

Also the little big things like Melo diving into the stands to save a possession, Marcus Camby 38 yr old diving to the floor to force a jump ball. It's the team defense that really got my basketball juices flowing this year, the last time I saw the Knicks play help defense with this kind of courage and tenacity we qualified for the NBA Championship game.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
