I myself am also thankful that we went after Woodson over Phil Jackson. With Woodson, we have a chance to build and create a defensive dynasty. Not to consider Jackson overrated, because he's the greatest head coach of all-time, but he's also had the likes of Jordan/Pippen along with Kobe/Shaq leading the way for his championship teams. There are multiple reasons on why I never wanted anything to do with Phil Jackson. A.) His health. B.) How long would he stay, only two or three seasons at the very most before leaving? And/or C.) Has turned his back on our Knicks franchise for many of years. He started off his NBA career as a Knick, won his first championship as a Knick, followed by keeping us as a distant memory for way too long. Phil Jackson of all people, did not deserve a hand fed Eastern Conference Contending team. If he never had the heart and/or couldn't coach us during our losing years, well, then; he doesn't deserve us at our very best. Also, if the Knicks ever win our first championship dating back to 1972, I would like for it to be special. I dream of it being about our New York Knicks, these players, this team; and not just another one of Phil Jackson's 12 NBA Championship rings. I want the story to surround our Knicks, not as Phil Jackson being the center of attention and/or stealing the show.

Win shares??? Are the knicks trying to buy a condo in Acapulco??? LOL

Team wins everybody get's a share, it's the stupidest concept in BASEBALL Advance stats imo.

Woodson has delivered a clear message to Marcus Camby. You are here to excel, not simply to run out the clock on your career. That message is heard (loud and clear) by everyone on the bench, including Iman Shumpert and Amar'e Stoudemire. They better be ready when their number is called.

I wasn't sold on Woody when the Knicks took the interim tag off. They said he was a good defensive coach, but could his teams score? Well the Knicks are definitely scoring. I also like Woodson's everyone accountable approach. It's the same rules for every player, star or not.

two things that seperate us from other teams is veteran smarts and having a very deep team. We are a team that can win a title because of those two things AND because our defense is top notch. There is a reason why Bosh called us "scary". The Miami heat want no part of us in the playoffs and if we beat miami like we did on opening night we will be in the finals

During the regular season, Mike Woodson is 25-7 as Knicks head coach. At double that unexpected pace, 50-14.

Unlikely? Perhaps. However, if he keeps proddin' and the Knicks keep listenin' and learnin'.... who is to say we can't be believin'?
