It's 7 games in and we are calling for Tyson's head?? Let's say he does have the flu.... has he not been still grinding it out? Have we not still been competitive? Yes his screens have looked like ****, but him and Melo have been grinding it out down low against the tough PF's and C's of the West. Had it not been for the refs, we would be 7-0. Thiago went off because Tony Parker went off.. Tyson was helping out.. When u have Gasol and Randolph ur gonna get beat.. It's a tough cover for everyone.

He does look slow, and he hasn't been screening well, but come on yo.. this is a very premature thread. They have been playing their butts off and I would not trade Tyson for anyone.. remember what it was like when we didn't have a Center. If he's milking it to take his time to recover because we have no solid backups.. then so be it. We will be in the playoffs.. I'd rather be healthy then and him give it his all than he go hard now and burn out.

So you are agreeing about his play but dislike that we are mentioning it? No one is calling for his head just that he needs to step up and is not above criticism.

Yes I am agreeing about his play, and I did read someone mention trading him (could've been a joke). I also agree he isn't above criticism. But I never said I dislike you guys mentioning it. It appears it goes from step it up Tyson, get ur act together - to - Tyson sucks, you haven't done nothing for me lately, let's trade him.

And that my friend is why I posted.

I don't know. I don't think he looked that great in the preseason either.

He has a bone bruise in his knee, which is probably why he's started slow (as well as the flu). He got off to a slow start last season- his averages for the first 6 games this season are pretty much the same as the first 6 last season.

How about in the playoffs? How about for team USA?

We went all in with Tyson and it was dumb!

SMH at you for not knowing what the thread is about.

We want Tyson to step his game up and stop playing like doo-doo, that's all.

I think he has had one or two bad games. I don't think he has played like "doo doo" overall. This thread is just massive overreaction.

We went all in with Tyson prior to LAST YEAR. He won the DPOY. You are now saying it was dumb to go all in on Tyson based on games that did not count (preseason), games where the team was shorthanded, had no point guard and he was ill (playoffs), and games where he was in a rotation with the best players in the world (olympics), and based upon 1/10th of this season not even being played and Tyson coming off an injury.

Talk about over reaction.

Look Im a huge tyson fan. Yes he is not playing badly but he also isnt playing like he did last year. His rebounding and interior defense has been disappointing so far. Now its stiill early so im not worried. also he was injured in preseason

We went all in because it cost us our priceless amnesty. And, based on Tyson's career, I don't think he can sustain the last 2 years play.

Aside from us, only Golden State made him an offer.

Great team player! But, overrated (in value)

Would you feel better about Tyson if we had amnestied Amare instead of Chauncey?
