Yeah the bosom buddies will be in here ROFLOL'ding and dapping each other up with the "I told you so's" nonsense. Killa's post nailed my sentiments exactly......

only bosom buddies around here are the little fellas that occupy MElo's jock, and the parade of fools lined up to catch of whiff of his bunghole. The rest of the Knick fans will be ok with it.

there's a large percentage of posters that care more about being right than enjoying the game--and that's on both sides

Speaking for myself, I didn't follow Melo much when he played for the Nuggs. Now that he's down with us, I'm down with him. He represents the Knicks and his success or lack there of has a direct effect on W's and L's so I root for him and the others who wear the Blue and Orange to succeed. So in that sense, I'm a fan of his. But since when did being a fan of a player on your favorite team become a bad thing? Seriously, I was a big Mark Jackson fan when he ran the point for the Knicks. Even wore #13 in high school because of Mark. I guess that would make me a Mark Jackson jock rider.

The Knicks are going to lose games. It is what it is. I just don't want to see 3+ game losing streaks.

Ditto. Can we avoid losing to the Cavs twice in the same season, for example?

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

They win the next one. Woodson hasn't lost back to back games for the 30 regular season games he has coached.

Memphis tonight might be that first loss we get. Hopefully not, but they have a tough team. I hope Tyson is on his game. Maybe Camby will see some action tonight too?

Now we have a chance to see how we respond after a loss. I'm confident that we'll respond with New York heart. An early afternoon game against an old school Pacers rival. At home in front of Madison Square Garden faithful. It doesn't get much better than that.

Heading into the season I placed both the 76ers and Pacers on the same scale, talent and potential wise (when fully healthy). With the Pacers having the slight edge. Now we'll have a chance to see how our team comes out against a very solid Eastern Conference team, a team in which we're expected to beat. As a fan, I'm ready for that challenge.

As I mentioned during another thread, as a team and as a fan base, we still have something to chase. Which is matching the 93-94 Knicks start of 7-1. That what a win against Indy gives us. Our best franchise start dating back to 1993. I'm down that we lost, but at the same time, I'm proud of the way that this team came into the season focused. Focused on competing. Focused on performing. One loss can't erase that either. We have a team that plays with lots of overall toughness. From physical to mental toughness. Started off 6-1 despite the fact that a hurricane, a natural disaster, affected a lot of peoples lives outside of the game of basketball. Hit New York and New Jersey head on. But yet, these guys were able to stay focused in regards to the task at hand, which was to play winning basketball.

Thanks for the good basketball talk heading into this game/loss, really enjoyed this run, and also had a good time posting away.

What happens? Nothing really. 6 wins doesn't make the season and 1 loss doesn't end it. Seven games into the season is way too early to be making any sort of lasting judgments on our team.

What happens?

Start new threads about players not stepping up.

New trade ideas.

Who the knicks should have drafted.

Argue we did not have a pick.

Not blame it on Melo.

Blame it on the refs, Stearn, the Media, the Rain.

no... shoving Mark Jackson is the MVP, the best PG in the league, a star who has only lacked a supporting cast down my throat and labeling me a hater if I resisted your kool aid would make you a jock rider. What you described was just being a fan.

I have learned that the detailed and reasoned analysis of NYKMentality has much more to offer than posters who turn basketball conversation into personal and petty talking points.

Time to start another win streak, I think Houston we be the toughest in the next batch of games because they rebound and have shooters.

We blame Mr Earl for Jinxing us!
Jason Kidding, of course-
I think what happens is we recognize STAT will help the team! Go Knicks!
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.
