PG play is the key to this season. They produce then this team is going to th ECF. If they falter then I doubt they make the playoffs. The 3 headed PG monster looked really good last night. I hope they keep it up.

I hope Felton has a great year, but we only need him to be solid. After taking less money to sign with us the first time, we screwed him over by trading him away, but he still wanted to come back and play for us- he really wants to be here and he seems like a really likeable guy. I know he's inconsistent, but I'm glad we have him.

Really liked the way he played vs the Heat- managed to get through the Heat traps without turning the ball over where a former PG of ours probably would have. Good game.

They don't have regular season games up yet but I went to this site last year if I missed a game during the twc/msg dispute. I would think you could request someone post a stream or check back and it might be up.

No layups.

The box score does not do any justice to the leadership of our backcourt, which set the tone on both ends. Felton fought over and through screens. Same with JR Smith who was everywhere. Signature moment? Melo blocking an attempted Lebron James layup with deliberate force and clear intent.

If you missed MSG chanting "Ra-Sheed Wa-LISSSS!" you missed a bright moment that made Jeff Van Gundy join in with a footnote. How does he respond? He steps back and drains a three. The joint goes nuts.

CashMoney wrote:We will demo Lin when we play the Rockets. Felton will be on him like white on rice.

Felton and Kidd in the fourth quarter allowed us to go small and beat the Heat where they live. DWade and Lebron retreated to the bench with four minutes to go because there was nothing else they could do about the outcome.

Raymond Felton is one tough sucka.

Haha. Props to you for not dissapearing.

Un-props to you for "4 TO is simply not good no matter how you try to spin it."

Props to me and all the other rational people who discovered this CRRRRRRAZY fact

1. Felton will have a solid season. (His 2nd half last season once he got in shape was pretty good)
2. Jeremy Lin is not Chris Paul but he ain't "terrible" either

You can think both of these things AT THE SAME TIME without the universe imploding!

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Anybody who thought lin was a fluke ( or not as good as the 25 games he starred in) has no sense.

Last 18 games:

If jackie chan is a bargain @ 25million, then what is black dynamite for 12 million over 3 years(4.5million 4th year)???

That was one of the craziest movies I have seen. I still can't believe they made it into a cartoon.

Now, show me where I said Jeremy Lin is terrible.

I wasn't referring to you specifically in # 2 though you seemed so eager to label the kid a bust after PRESEASON. There were some points in that thread where it seemed like you were abandoning logic just to try to hammer home a point.

NUPE wrote:0% from three is terrible
Call the basketball police! Someone took 2 threes and made none. TERRIBLE!

NUPE wrote:All those players take huge dumps on Lin. I don't know what you are attempting to prove. Lin has played like poo the last few weeks and last night. 4 TO is simply not good no matter how you try to spin it.

To be fair, I guess those on "the other side" are also guilty of the same in trying to put the dude on a pedestal. Again, as I've said before, if we're going to debate a player's merits, let's be reasonable. If the point of that thread was just to observe how Lin does, then you should have maybe held back on the extra servings of sarcasm when referring to Jeremy "Gift" Lin. Maybe you shouldn't repeatedly refer to fans who are miffed about him not being on this season's team as "whiners". There are posters who insist he's the next Chris Paul and most of them left last season. Consider ignoring them as most of us do as it seems like this you've taken on the role of being the Kryptonite to those posters. It's not a good look for you and makes you say odd things which are in contrast to some well reasoned basketball arguments I've seen you make so far on this board. Just saying....

mray20 wrote:Lin is 24 and he did not have a major injury , it should have taken 3-6 weeks to come back not 6 months
Word??

ChuckBuck wrote:Didn't Ronnie Brewer have the same procedure done, and just returned for the last 2 games of preseason?

Jeremy Lin has a vag...

Thank you Dr. ChuckBuck

Again, there's still a chance that over 82 games we'll see he's nothing more than just a backup but maybe wait a few games before Declaring the Final Judgement on what a dude's gonna become over the next 3 seasons. This applies to both Felton and Lin.

It's kinda sad when people become invested in seeing another man FAIL. Can't we all just make smores 'round the campfire, sing jimmy crack corn and wish the best for Melo/Felton/Amare etc. and if you are so inclined, Lin?

Kumbaya my lord...kumbayaaaaaaaa

Un props to people who believe that pointing out the positive influence of a future HOFer and one of the best international PGs to ever play the game is an insult. Believing that this somehow negates the compliments about his good decision making which in his mind is really a "backhanded compliment". As if Felton has nothing left to learn.

Felton agreed, saying he's just happy to have someone like Kidd in his corner.

“I won’t say he's a father figure but he’s definitely a role model I look up to," Felton said with a smile. "I’m just lucky to have him here, and learn from him, and pick his brain."
