Ha- Heat doctors exaggerating there with the 70yr old knees comment- they've never seen Amar'es MRIs or x rays so why even bother asking them for an opinion. Wish the Knicks would hurry up and tell us what's happening, surely the rabid speculation is worse than being up front about it.

The more I think about this, I think Copeland will be the starting PF. Need a rebounder and they will ask Copeland to fill this role.

When in doubt, go with the yoot who can absorb extended minutes and play tough defense. Reward Cope for fighting his way to the NBA and he will repay us with effort.

Bring Kurt and Sheed as Replacements when needed, selectively.

If we could start Landry Fields, we can start Cope.

Maybe Felton can replace Amar'es scoring- he was pretty good at it his first season with us. Should we buyout White and sign a PF, or a SF like josh Howard? Is there any player who got cut yesterday worth signing? Or do we roll with what we've got?

An injury to Melo and we're screwed...

For the first few games I think Woody starts a veteran at the 4. Either Kurt Thomas or Sheed. Copeland will come in, in the middle of the first period and play extended minutes with both the first and second units. He is still a rookie and needs to earn his time and get some experience under his belt.

I agree with pastor earl, start Copeland aka minMelo.

He brings good things to the offense and will be solid everywhere else except rebounding.

One thing about Copeland in the pre season is that he moved great without the ball. He had some of Amare's good traits. Wouldn't mind giving him a look in extended minutes with the starters.

Like the lineup but Cope works sooooo well with Prig and Da Kidd and can be an offensive focal point for 2nd team. He may get consumed going against 1st teamers.
