We talk about everything associated with the Knicks, past, present, and future..It has always been the case and will always be the case....We even talk about Ewing and Oak, you going to complain about that too??

Yeah. We all need to relax a little. Lin is still an impact on this season. It's one thing to keep saying he is good, when he clearly isn't. It's a good thing to remind all the posters that called anybody associated with Knicks management every bad word in the book, when all signs are pointing to Lin not living up to expectations and Felton already surpassing them.

We also got Kidd and brewer from the bulls for pennies on the dollar.

Look im happy with our point guards we have now but i think lin is a good kid and he also brought excitement back to the garden. I dont care about talking about lin i've just noticed every day there seems to be more about lin than our own team lol. I think the knicks will have a good year despite what happens to amare

Steve Nash with better defense? Have you watched Deron Williams during his career, especially since he was traded to the Nets? Have you ever watched Steve Nash play? Last season, Nash played with absolutely ****ing nobody and put up 12 and 10 while shooting 53% from the field and 39% from 3. Deron put up 21 and 8 shooting 40% from the field and 33% from 3.

Net fans also complain all the time about his body language and lack of leadership. Very Marburyesque

I think he reminds me more of Stockton since Stockton was a better defender than Nash.

He is in Jersey for the money and because the new cba forced him to stay. That being said. I am sure his attitude improved with the offseason NJ had.

Deron Williams gets 20 pts and 10 assists a night.

Knicks would be championship contenders with Deron Williams. The guy is NASTY.

The problem and silliness in comparing him to players like Nash and Stockton is the efficiency number are not even close.

Citing PPG and Assists (and embellishing while you're at it) while ignoring everything else - I think we've gone even further into Marbury territory!

Deron averages 20 & 8. Not 20 & 10. He benefited from playing in Sloan's heavy pick n roll system. You know who also averaged 20 & 8 and didn't make his teammates better and took toO many shots as a pg and had bad body language and bad leadership? STEPHON MARRRRRRBURY!!!

Deron Williams had more talent surrounding him last year than Steve Nash did. The Nets finished 22-44 and 25th in the league. The Suns finished 33-33 and 18th in the league.

Nets weren't that healthy Brook broke his foot early on, even D-Will missed some games himself. I do think he is overrated in terms of top point guards if you factor both sides of the ball and not sure if he's a true "Max Player" but I'd take him over both "Max Players" we have.

Deron averages 17.6 and 9.2

Just Sayin. 9.2 is pretty damn good.

It is. In the past year and a half, though, assists per game is the only useful stat that he's been good at. The turnovers are bad and shooting efficiency is quite bad. When shooting efficiency is quite bad and you take a lot of shots, the outcome is brutal.

Deron is not efficient and turns the ball over a bit much.

"LOL at certain people"? Talk about being passive-aggressive!
In my case, I've been a critic of Deron's play for over a year.

Lol @

- certain people on this board determined to knock the kid down at every opportunity. what their motivation is i have no idea. the kid was the most fun thing we've had as knicks fans since how long. if he's not with the team anymore than why not wish him good luck and leave it at that vs. feeling the need to **** on him every chance.

- certain people on this board who KNOW what he will or won't become.

I don't know if he'll be able to play at an NBA starter's level over 82 games. I hope he does though. If he fails it might feel food for certain people to say "see i told you he sucks!"

Other than the 'I told you so!' factor, why, as a Knicks fan, would you be actively rooting for this guy to fail? I just don't get it.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

This is true.

To me, it also shows how hard it is to be efficient on a bad team especially if you are pretty much the only option.
