Detroit still have a chance to sign wallace and okur, if they settle a deal with charlotte to take one of their contracts (that they can waive immediatly). Only thing they have to do is giving csh, draft picks they won't need...

trust me, dumars is a good player, he'll do whatever he wants an we'll only be spectators.

I agree with briggs, unless wallace WANTS to come, no way we can have him. so if we can't get a huge boost, we should keep on cuting dead wood (harrington...), replacing them with youngs in the pipe or mid aged vets. we have to build a team that will be ready to compete for real in 2/3 yrs, not try to rush things.

otherwise, next championship we'll get will be in 2073.

btw, don't you all like to see a guy like sweet making strides ? I mean, it's something bigger than just a season record.

He improves, we watch him grow. Maybe he'll be there when we'll win. I'dlike to watch other guys grow.

Moreover, IT, like layden bash me if you like, has a good eye for talent in the draft. That's pretty cool for us, even with only a second round pick.

Why wouldn't we trade KT on draft day to get a punk+1st rounder? Sounds doable IMO. what do you guys think about that ?

Right on Briggs, I saw Araujo play yesterday in the NCAA and he's an absolute bull. Definitely a guy with potential to play C in the NBA.

how do you recommend they get him though? trade up to the first round or you think he'll fall to the 2nd round. araujo will be a nice player in the nba, he's so strong and thick, he's almost immovable it looked like to box out or push out of the paint.

Yea this kid looks like a beast, but I don't think we should put all of our offseason hopes on him. Maybe if we can find a reasonable deal for a reasonable draft pick, then I would go after him. I think when all is said and done, we will have a first-round draft pick by the time the draft rolls around. There are a lot of Centers in this draft that have very bright futures, so I think we should make a run at one of them. So if I was Isiah right now, I be thinking up ways to get a lottery pick.
"This is a very cautious situation that we're in. You have to be conservative in terms of using your assets and using them wisely. We're building for the future." - Zeke (I guess not protecting a first round pick is being conservative)
