Kidd seems to be in great shape. Much better than his years in Dallas. What are the chances he replaces Felton as starter. Once the Knicks and fans realize he was a product of Mike Dantoni for a half a season?

The Knicks unis look really good in that shot.

Jason Kidd in a Knick uniform?!? Who would've thunk it!

Sure about that?

Also, he was the unfortunate victim of one of Bruce Bowen's classic dirty plays back in the day.

Kidd said recently that he's in the best shape he's been in 5 years. I believe it now. I'm guessing that he wants to make everyone forget that embarassing offseason. Also read that Woodson might use Felton/Kidd as a tandem. Would be intresting to see how that works out.

If we could run the offense through Amare in the post with him being able to pass out of it and create open 3s for Felton, Kidd, Melo, Smith, Novak etc. It would bring this team to another level. We know we have the Pick and Roll in the bank, but Amare out of the post would add a needed dimension to this team.

Amar'e isn't a good passer. Never was, never will be. Not sure if depending on him to create from the post will ever work, especially considering he's 30 and only going downhill from here.

Going down hill physically may put a lot of focus on him improving mentally hopefully Hakeem can improve him in that area. Knowing he can't just beat guys off his physical abilities he will have to adapt. He developed a jump shot through hard work after just being a pick and roll guy. If he puts focus on passing out of the post there is no reason why he wouldn't be able to be successfully at it. It really comes down to his mind set. He was never really asked to do so and play that way in the past so I can't say if he isn't cappable, isn't willing or what. its a question that I guess we will find out shortly.

Felton's is the most interesting- good to see he looks like he did his first season with us (once he got in shape a few weeks into the season). Said he's been in the gym 2 or 3 times a day, every day- which is important as when he was with Portland he said he hated gyms and tried to avoid them.

I like Felton a lot- he's not the greatest PG, but he's solid and I like his toughness- hope he has a great season.

To be honest I wasnt thrilled that he was coming back, I wanted Nash amd then Kidd before he was signed but Felton has come back in shape and looks like he has the right attitude. Larry Brown didnt want to trade him because he said the team couldnt afford to lose his heart. High praise.

I like him too, the problem is, he likes to shoot - alot - and he is awful at it.

Felton was a borderline all star the year he was with the knicks......that's the only truth there needs to be told.....

He's never been in thus type of shape starting the season. He's always been out of shape and had to work his way into shape. He's ready to play on day one.

I expect Felton to be near all star level again. ....with Kidd presence....14/6 fair. Maybe go by what you see not what you hear
