Why should we heed someone who mostly tells us to temper any enthusiasm because of our owner or to not spend our money on his product? We have all season to see how this product pans out. I believe tHat most here are quite capable of making their own decisions and should not be denigrated if they want to continue to spend their entertainment dollar on the Knicks. For those that want to be Nets fans, why come here and continue to peddle some inner struggle you are going through on liking the Knicks less and less and the Nets more and more. After a while, any allegiance to the Knicks you claim to profess becomes disingenuous. If your stumbling block is Dolan, than wait till he departs and you can come back and be welcomed with open arms.

As far as Barkley is concerned. He's always been an attention whore who makes statements for effect. Doesn't make him right or wrong, but it should be taken into account based on how seriously you want to take his predictions. If you google "Charles Barkley hates"......almost every NBA team and many players are sure to come up.

Barkley is an idiot. He should get in on the Stephen A Smith and Skip debates. They all like to make headlines with bold predictions that have no logic and flip flop 2 days later. I don't take a single word that comes out of Barkley's mouth seriously...

I am a knick fan since 1971. Been here long before Dolan was in charge.

Im not trying to champion the cause of discontent or have any inner struggle with the N*ts. Im pretty open about it.

KNicks no. 1, Nets are no. 2. I have roots with the ABA Nets and Brooklyn. No where will you fine me promoting or trying to persuade the Nets as a better team. We talk about the Lakers team, Boston team, and other division rivals so the get used to the N*ts being in the mix.

This is a discussion. If a homerism is discussed and I don't agree I bring my point to the table.

The UK has long been a place for discussion, not a "Kool Aid Sausage Fest" to just spew love and only love.

The UK "taliban" that prefers no negative talk is not the basis for a healthy forum.

When my wife sports a "Helo Brooklyn" berka then you know Im gone.

As a black man its hard for me to watch tnt..especially with chuck and kenny smith. The problem i have is i actually think they have bball iq...but i feel like tnt has told them to act like clowns..now u add shaq and now its even more of a circus...its called COONERY!

with that said i cant take shaq or chuck too seriously

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Let's see. I'm going to try and find me some attention whores/ex-NBA Chinese Champion ballers who might have something positive to say about the Knicks.

See how much credence the gallo/yoot-loving, Dolan/Melo-hating, anti-homer, posting-for-the-love-of-the-game-alone posse gives to those points of view.

Its an old act and Shaq really does not bring much to the table. He is barely audible and is most effective being the clown. Kenny the Jet walking over to that huge screen seems awkward. Barkely is a "Celebrity" not a basketball commentater. I like him and don't mind his rants as they are not accurate which makes them funnier.

Maybe they are on too much? They kind of sucked when they covered the NCAA tournament.
