Nalod - even you must admit that 50 percent from the floor is a decent clip. Prigioni will only improve with his comfort level for his brand new running buddies and adjust to life in the NBA. Here is the best part,.. New Yorkers love (LOVE) to embrace the guy who brings something different to the party. Whether it is his unique background, his understated playing personality or just looking lake an average Joe... the moment he drains a three in The Garden, things are all good in the neighborhood.

One thing is certain, he knows how to hit the open man. Imagine him and Jason Kidd talking leadership strategy on road trips in the back of the team jet.

That is good enough for The Answer Man.

Maybe the few Rooster groupies left on here could finally find a replacement in an aging Spaniard PG?

Shift Change

"Also evident from Thursday night is that Prigioni can be a solid backup point guard. He finished with 14 points, four assists and two steals in only 21 minutes. There was some offseason talk about how he would handle the faster pace of the NBA, as he has been used to more physical, halfcourt-style games after playing many years internationally. But he had no problem keeping up with the tempo on both ends of the floor, and he executed the pick-and-roll fluidly and knocked down four 3s."

- Jared Zwerling, ESPN

jrod - Forget Gallo for a moment, is Prigioni already a better fit than Jeremy Lin?

Could be.

What I like is that NYs first two PGs can guard the two allowing Woodson to be able to play 2 pgs at the same time. That a lot of good passing on the foor at once which means there could be 4 players at times capable of handling the ball in PnRs if shump/Smith is at the 3 and Melo is at the 4.

I like what grunnie has done, brought in guys to preserve other guys and keep them fresh.

grunnie? rofl.. jeez.. now he has a nickname..

anyway, how do you preserve older guys, by bringing in other older guys who have never played in the NBA?

Glennie is a weird knickname- how about Glenwald?
PP for typing's sake?
PP looks great on the floor -
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Pure Knicks Love

Just enjoying the moment where a player steps into an increased role and makes plays. His flow just feels more in sync tonight. The spacing was excellent as the shots were less work. The Knicks move the ball.

His ability to make that out of bounds steal each and every game is about as steady as Lucy pulling the football from Charlie Brown.

Imagine if he had some time to play at West 4th Street for an hour before the season.

Welcome home Pablo.

Pee Pee dropping dimes like it's going out of style.

I'll take 8 assists 1 turnover from a bench PG anyday.

Even more importantly, he allowed Yoda Kidd to rest the entire 4th quarter pretty much.

My only big concern at this point is or perimeter defense.

man don't even compare Pable to the Ghost of Bibby. Dude didn't even resemble a point guard, couldn't shoot, defend and really should give the Knicks back the minimum they paid him. Pablo is a baller who knows his strengths and doesn't try to play outside of it.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

it made perfect sense and if you aren't aware of that considering that Felton is out and Kidd CAN'T play extended minutes, I have to doubt your knowledge of the game. Either that or, you forgot the green font
