You're a good dude but this sort of statement is highly subjective cause many would argue that Shumpert is clearly the young gun on this team with the biggest upside.

Given Lins small sample its easy to discount the stats but he put an NBA team on his back and rode it. The Toronto buzzer beater (game was tied) was increidible for a player with his limited experience. He showed a strength of character and clear vision of his clutch gene.
I think his upside as pg with leadership skills and the abilty to perform in the clutch is just not a common trait.
Shump has very nice upside no doubt.
Lin's effectiveness diminished greatly when Mike D'Antoni left. Felton had a down year, was out of shape and put up nearly the same stats as Lin did last year. People are only pissed off because they liked the story. It has nothing to do with basketball.
I would have liked to have seen Dolan match the offer, but I get it. Lin's not going to be as good as Chris Paul in two years so you can't pay him that match, especially in the new CBA.
