It bares no reflection of what the state of the team is now. This is a vet team that has no real points of contention. MDA is gone and thus no tension between him and Melo.
Felton and Kidd are here so there shouldn't be any issues at the PG spot.
We have Camby behind Tyson which really improves the ability to defend for 48 mins a night.
All the players seem to like Woody and Glen is his best bud, so from top to bottom this team is more unified.
I just don't see the old Knicks are disfunctional issue being in effect this year. For the 1st time in a long while it should be pretty much just about BB. The only thing that could happen is a player doing something stupid off the court, which is always possible.
On a team with JR, Amare, Melo, and Felton, there's plenty possibility for dysfunction.
What about these players indicates a possibility for dysfunction?
Their pasts
YES!
-JR will not Tweet 1 but 2 BIG BUTTS!
-Amare will slip on a bar of soap in the shower and reinjure his back, then in aggravation break his hand slamming his fist into his locker
-Melo will refuse to ISO under Mike Woodson, and stand in the corner hoisting 3s instead!
-Felton after losing his starting job to Kidd will fall into a deep depression, and eat nothing but Shake Shack, Ray's Pizza, and Gray's Papaya!
That about cover it?
