I was the one who said the Knicks could be like the Bulls with Rose. Pretty much a one man offensive team. Sure Amar'e is our 2nd option, but for the most part we're not loaded with dependable scoring options. We don't have a lot of guys that can score on their own. Of course Felton and Smith can score, but you don't depend on them to deliver consistently. For example, the Nets have Deron and Johnson right off the bat. Say what you want about B Lopez, but dude can score. Brooks is a scorer that doesn't need help. I mean it's a totally different thing than the Knicks and our offensive make up.
Woody is a Larry Brown disciple so there will be a more controlled style of play which can be a good thing. It's not a lock that the Knicks will have problems scoring, but this isn't a team that you expect to be explosive UNLESS the defense is like it was late last year and creates a lot of fast breaks off TO's. It's the defensive end that could lead to a lot of scoring much like the Heat, so if you're looking for another more positive comparison, there you go.
