Guy is only making minimum rookie salary wage, what a waste of thread space. Knicks still have 2 more roster spaces open that they can fill out the roster with other players.

VMart - MrEarl you are ridiculous with your fandom.
VMart - so what? ... your point is to claim superiority because you are a rational person? Gimme a freakin' break.
VMart - Everyone here is saying he is our third string option at PG.
VMart - "everyone" is not saying anything about Prigioni. Speak for yourself. Prigioni has demonstrated he can direct an offense against the best the NBA has to offer, while you insist on labeling him a bust before he plays his first NBA game?
How silly is that?

I understand what VMART is saying, he maybe the 15th man on the roster now, but that can change in a NY min if kidd or felton goes down..and with our history of injuries, you can bet this guy will see quality mins at some point in the season.. That can come in the middle of a losing streak where is contribution will be valuable..
So you can't just brush it off like ahh he's a pine rider, he'll still be needed in practice to challenge guys and make the bench better..Having a crack head pg is never a good thing no matter the role.

It's a questionable signing. I think he's far from a sure thing but I do like that he's a true pg. With the stage the Knicks are at, I would think you aim for a guy that's a solid NBA Vet. Then again, not much is solid when you're talking about your third PG, so whatever.

I think it makes sense cuz if you're trying to win a title you don't want to have to "teach" at this level. You don't have to worry about Priggy being able to handle the situation. People are worrying about the wrong thing. We don't need him to be able to score. We need him to distribute the ball to our scorers. Not many teams have a great 3rd string option. We have a steady guy to rely on.

You know he is making the salary of an undrafted rookie,488,000 right. I don't think there is a. Undrafted rookie that has his experience and talent. The Knicks have been interested in Pablo for several years. I think he is s greAt signing. He is a low risk high reward signing.

yeah, lets complain about the 15th guy on the roster because that makes alot of sense. the dude isn't getting paid much. its the epitome of a low-risk/high-reward signing. do we really need to complain about everything?
Exactly!!!!! Let's give him a chance before we rip him!

I actually think it was nice pickup. When Felton is jacking up shots like BD and missing and Kidd is in jail for an overnight infraction, Priggy will will be the consistent, safe mature presence in our locker room and on the floor.
No explosion but great in the PnR and can really shoot. We'll see.

Agree. Felton is being extremely overrated these days because people are trying to overcompensate for letting go of Lin and trying to defend that move. Felton's a good player, I was big supporter of signing him the first time under Donnie. But he has a limited skillset. I am holding out hope that Kidd still has a year or two left and that will definitely help Felton if they are on the floor together (Kidd in the Billups @ Clippers role). I am not sold on JR being able to control his game enough to be really useful, Brewer has little offense. We are still weak in the backcourt. Big names mean little if it doesn't messh, we'll see how this works out in afew months.

I don't like to see a player referred to as a "waste of space." I hope that he can make a meaningful contribution as a Knick.

Prigs seems like a smart pickup. A solid pass first PG who comes in for a mere $488k onto a salary cap strapped team and accepts a role as third string insurance. Not sure many teams will be able to plan for injury to say that their third string PG will lead them to the promised land.

Yes, now we can rate our third-stringers based on their possible "Lin quotient". Thanks, Jeremy. You've added an entire new way for people to express putrid hate for our team.
And yes, we have to complain about everything. Because remember, if you're not complaining, you're not rational; you're just another towel-waving blind sheep sucking on JimmieD's teats.
