I don't think the Nets will be anywhere near as tough on D as the Knicks, so both teams will be somewhat polar opposites of each other. The Nets have the scoring punch and the Knicks have more defensive strength. It's gonna be a heck of a battle for years with these 2 teams.

What Was it about my post that was "pro Nets"?

I read kNick fans bash the nets on how "Joe Johnson is 57!", Or "Broken foot BroPez never plays and has a 60 mil contract", or "Gerald Wallace is 64 years old with a 40mil deal," and I decided to look at them. I then looked at our beloved Tyson and the games he missed earlier in his career.

I found their age of core is not far from our core. I also tried to understand the contracts. JOhnsons deal is crazy but its tempered by what you pay for him. I lived thru Marbles max deal and Eddy's deal were we gave the team away and paid max money. Nets gave up little for JJ.

I said Wallace is not far from his career avgs and Questioned it vs. a 6th pick. It looks reasonable.

Guys don't want to read then don't. To not and slam it as being a pro net post is ignorant.

In fact I think some of Net bashers might be misinformed. Its one thing to hate, but to hate and be ignorant does not impress.

Most of you are clever and enjoyable to read even when I don't agree. It makes it fun. When stupidity reigns supreme then the forums become a bore.

If you don't like the subject, don't read it. If you do and have a take, thats cool. If you don't read it and want to vomit a thought its pretty evident who thinks one thru and who does not.

I never in my post suggested anyone support the Nets.

I found your analysis of contracts to be both subjective and slanted towards the Nets. For example, you promoted the upside of Lopez, but the downside of Chandler to artificially level the playing field. You only took into account annual contract salaries, and not contact lengths including salary cap in out years, which accept for Humphries, favors the Knicks. You did not take into account the Entire roster, which IMO favors the Knicks. Your motives are quite transparent. Disparage the Knicks because you hate Dolan, and prop up the Nets, because you are from Brooklyn.
