Where the hell is Blinn Junior College?

Chris Anderson is a high publicity risk, and ultimate distraction, in New York.

Donte Green is 6'10, went to Syracuse and is ten years younger.

The choice is clear.

I don't understand how Earl Clark's name hasn't been mentioned as another possibility. I believe he is still out there, no?

I say we go hard after Kenyon Martin, entice him about the possibility of getting endorsements and etc. Playing in nyc.

I would like Birdman, but the fact is he has had problems the last 2 seasons ,did the surgery on his knee,we won't know if he is going to jail or not.

So I don't know, shawne williams would be good, but was he good cuz of d'antoni system.can he do the same things again for woodson?

Hell, maybe we won't ever find out lol

Agreed. Combine the child pornography investigation and his past drug use with his injury problems, he missed 70 games over the last two seasons, and I'd rather not take a chance on the guy. My preference is Art Parakhouski from our Summer League squad, he reminds me a little of Joel Pryzbilla, but I'd be fine with Donte Greene as well.

Anderson is a very good player and he can be waived if he becomes a problem.

Donte Greene is a SF. He is a poor man Rashard Lewis.

Kenyon Martin would be ideal but I dont see him taking the minimum.

Yeah, you're right. I saw his size and I assumed he was a PF/C. We really don't need another SF so we should go with Art or Blatche, I'd be happy with either one.

You'll change your tune if he went to Miami.

It would only be a vets min deal, if he causes a disruption of any kind he's gone.

I like parakhouski a lot. I think a lot depends on Kurt and how much he has left. I think he played 15 mins a game last year. If he is going to contribute then I think the knicks should go young.

Anderson would be like an 11th man how much distraction could he be really.
Kenyon would be awesome and 1 thing we do have is Kidd plus some other Nuggets players but very doubtful

From a pure basketball standpoint, I think Kenyon Martin would be a good fit. But I don't know if my stomach could take both him and Kidd in Knicks uniforms next season.

i agree with matt...i cant STAND kmart and im not the biggest kidd fan...but theyre good players that can help the team...i hear kmart does NOT want the mini vet (which is all we can offer though)
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

This thought alone makes me hope he's out of the league by next month

I don't understand how someone mired on Denver's bench is even viewed as a possible asset here. Agree with some of the other posts, I'd rather watch some summer league talent than add one more possible sociopath to the very tail end of our bench.

We've managed to catch some very nice lightning in a bottle with JR being sort of calm and collected for the better part of a year. Let's not tempt fate.

Yeah, let him go to Miami. He and ECurry could trade life notes, maybe write a book together.

Anyone know how much Kurt Thomas has left in the tank? At 10 minutes he might be a capable back up. Anything significantly less, Knicks will need another backup big to fill minutes. Guys looking to accept minimum to play for their next big contract might not come here due to lack of PT (think Blatch). At the 4 right now:

Stat.....30 minutes
KT....5 to 10 minutes
Melo.....8 to 13 minutes

Who may be brought in will be driven by how much KT can/should play and Melo's time at the 4. Initially there does not seem to be significant minutes......a guy like KMart, assuming he comes for a limited back up role might be the right choice. Any player brought in who is expecting big minutes will become a potential distraction.

Tell me about it! Somehow I my dislike for KMart lessened after he left the Nets but the both of them with their smirks used to make me sick when they were on the Nets.

Hey, let's try to be fair here before labeling someone a sociopath. A man is innocent before he is proven guilty. That said, I would like to see his legal issues cleared up before we sign him. Andersn does hustle and that type of energy is contagious.

Hey, let's try reading for comprehension; "possible sociopath". Given the below, I don't think the "possible" label is a stretch:

On January 25, 2006, Andersen was disqualified from the NBA for violating the league's anti-drug policy by testing positive for a banned substance.
On May 10, 2012, Denver NBC affiliate 9News reported Andersen's home was the target of an investigation of a suspected internet case by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit.

BigDaddyG wrote:Andersn does hustle and that type of energy is contagious.

Yes, it was such a contagion that he didn't make it to the playoff roster and isn't even listed on the Nugget's depth chart behind those future HOF'ers Kosta Koufous and Moz.
