Way to go. The Olympics offer a prime opportunity to insult your global neighbors.
Nigeria sits on some of the best quality oil reserves in The World.
Buenos Aires, Argentina (Monday) is a as vibrant and modern as it gets.
I dont have insult my global neighbors, team USA did it for me.Does anyone else not see that as simply running up the score and embarrassing your opponent? I mean... once your up 50 maybe you walk it up and drain the shot clock?
In baseball the equivelent to what team USA is doing would be like stealing bases when your winning 15-0 in the 8th inning. Coach K should be ashamed.
Ugly American indeed Earl... is this interesting for people to watch?
"We didn't play LeBron [James] and Kobe [Bryant] in the second half, and with Carmelo shooting like that, we benched him," Krzyzewski said. "We didn't take any fast breaks in the fourth quarter, and we played all zone. You have to take a shot every 24 seconds, and the shots we took happened to be hit.
"I take offense to this question because there's no way in the world that our program in the United States sets out to humiliate anyone."
Im glad to hear that... I dont really follow NCAA to well and coach K always struck me as a class guy. Very glad to hear team US slowed it down and didnt take fast break points in the 2nd half. Thats good.
Chuck, Im like the happiest dude I know. No idea why you would think Im miserable.
Team USA aside, is there a better player in the Olympics than Melo? Might put Parker and Gasol in a similar class but you cant make any reasonable arguement that those guys are better than Melo. When your bench player is heads above the other teams starters your gonna see some ugly scores.
It was cool when first dream team destroyed everyone, because there was a message to be sent there. I just dont think these matches are that interesting. Win = ho hum. Lose = epic disaster.
Watching that little Gabby girl kick was cool!
