After being here a while, I've noticed the majority people don't want to talk about Jimmy Dolan and even flamed me numerous times for being visual about my hatred towards him, which I understand if you think Jimmy Dolan can take us to the finals. Seems like many fans here are either ignorant (I meant as ignorance is bliss), or optimistic, or really believe Jimmy Dolan can change just like how women believe they can change their men and save the relationship. I'm really feeling I'm swimming against the current here and would like to know if that's true. There's no third option because it's a simple yes or no, and if you are saying a third option, then that means you still believe Jimmy Dolan can.
We can win a championship while Jimmy Dolan owns the team.
There is no way Knicks will win a championship as long as Jimmy Dolan is owner.

The issue is not with Dolan's spending, but it's really with his personality and how he takes everything personal. If he REALLY ran the Knicks like a business, there would be no issue. But it's not a business, it's a personal toy that he wants to control as he sees fit. And it's not the Mark Cuban style of ownership where it's really about trying to uplift a team, pay heritage to the previous owner, and try to turn a team around. It's more like how a kid owns something nice and pretty and wants to shove it in other people's face that he owns it and will do whatever he likes with it, consequences be damned.

So basically, you have all the negative attributes of an owner that doesn't care about money, and only one of the benefits (money is no object).

Rose is not the answer.

He spends while other other owners pinch pennies. I take Dolan over most owners any day of the week.
