Oh will you stop it with that please. There have been numerous article written about the Knicks could have used loopholes in the new cba to defer the costs. Everyone pretty much knows what happened, Dolan made business personal, again.

This explains how it happened.

You are going to try and make a point using an isola article? Honestly, when there is a logical explanation that doesn't make the team you root for look bad why would you go searching for an article that is sensational and written by a well known unreliable source. It sucks @ss that the Knicks lost Lin.

Knicks management said they would match any contract up to $1 billion dollars. Dolan told Lin himself during the playoffs that he shouldnt play because he had "big plans" for him "in the future". Any fool can see that Dolan got mad during the contract negotiations and made a personal decision instead of the right decision. This decision wasnt right for the fans, it wasnt right for the morale of the organization and it wasnt right for the team. Even people such as Steven A. Smith on his radio show and Michael Rosenberg in his columun, who loved this moved were forced to admit that this whole thing was an ego trip by Dolan. I mean really, how much more proof do you need?

You dont like Isola? Ok.

Agreed. James Dolan is a spoiled child who treats the Knicks like a plaything. Or a pet. An intelligent team would have matched, then waited, then traded him for SOMETHING. ANYTHING.

WE GAVE JEROME JAMES 30 MILLION DOLLARS AND HE AVERAGED 3 PTS 2 RBDS WHEN WE SIGNED HIM. in 2005!!!! NOW WE ARE SUDDENLY PENNY PINCHERS?????

Shit went down wrong. Grunny hiding in the closet and Dolan making woody look bad. Not tO say Lin did not mess up but it's business 1st. Dolan made it personal and **** all over his front office at the same time.

The best part of last season was linsanity and the promise we found a young likable pg for the future.

My favorite moment was getting MDA canned and finishing 18-6

But, Linsanity was pretty good though

We shouldn't have Lin test the market in the first place. I mean who does that? Oh yeah, King Dumblin that's who. He needs to do all Knick fans a favor and sell the team....PERIOD!!!! Sell it to the Russian and let Dolan own the Nets. That would be sweet!
