Just to put it out there: I think he would have developed into a much better here under Kidd/Woodson but I suspect he won't suck in Houston. He kinda showed he could ball a little bit. Just a question to y'all two: Did you not enjoy Linsanity at all? Other than the price tag, I hope you would have been happy to keep him around to develop at a reasonable price tag? The vibe I'm getting from you (HARDCOREKNICKSFAN) is that you're so annoyed with the blindly devoted Lin nut riders (of which I'll admit there are plenty)that you've turned that into i dunno..rooting for the kid to fail so you can be right? To me I don't understand it. It's just as ass backwards as Lin fanboys rooting for Felton to show up overweight and fail and drag the Knicks season down with him. I hope Lin has a monster season and carries the Rockets to the Finals (not that it's gonna happen but it would cause the internet to break if it did) and meets the Knicks there. Knicks in 7. Melo puts up 50 in game 7. STAT goes 30 pt 20 boards 5 assists 3 blocks no turnovers. Novak breaks Ray Allens 3 pt record. Long hug between Lin and Melo at the end. Wouldn't that be better? Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

That wasnt the point. The point is we let our best prospect and starting PG walk for nothing because the owner's feelings got hurt Oh yeah...I even read somewhere that he talked about Miami's defense and how hard it was for him to get across half court. I knew he wasn't going to play, even if he was 90%....which really isn't that far from 85%. And I'm sure him or his agent didn't want to miss out on that 25mil.... Lin is like Tebow....You can't hate the guy because he's so nice and appears to be the perfect role model, with the perfect sports story (Spike Lee will have a movie out by next summer...I called). But if you remove all of that, he's really an average player with above average potential (I can't even say PG, because he's a tweener)...He works hard, takes care of his body, drug free and took advantage of his opportunity. Even he thought he was on his way out of the league. Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland.
The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

In my heart of hearts, I don't wish bad on him at all. I wish him luck. The Lin nut riders (lol.. I dig that term, and will use it more often) are the ones acting like they want the Knicks to fail so they can be right about all the pissant venom they've been spewing.
Answer me this, GodSaveTheKnicks, what is the difference between: someone who claims to be a Knicks fan and only dwells on the negatives, trolls on other (as in REAL) fans who take the good with the bad, can discuss the negatives AND positives, and tries to have something salty to say whenever there MAY be someting that happens that some or many other Knicks fans find to be a positive worth being happy about... ..and a Knicks hater? For anyone to come up with an answer outside of "Nothing- they're both the same" is what is Ass Backwards, man. It's been an issue on this forum for many years, and Martin and the fellas who attend the UltimateKnicks meetups have had several face-to-face discussions about it. One of the reasons why I'm not tripping, and actually laughing at the behavior of some of these characters is because I know that others are seeing it too- including Martin and Andrew. I'm just waiting for enough of them top cross the line for proper action to be taken on it. This Lin drama may just be the topic to do getthat machine in motion. Just for the record, no amount of Anti-Knicks haterade swigging pseudo-fans would make me switch up out of spite or anything else. As my decade-long history on this UK proves, aside from having my occasional gripes about the management and a few players the Knicks have had over the years, I've always been optimistic regarding this team, and I always have and will hope for the best for the Knicks (and I defiantly say that, despite who the owner of the Knicks happens to be). Unlike a few other posters here, I'm above putting any one player over the TEAM. As a Knicks fan, as welll as personally, I consider that bitchassness. Lin taking the Rockets to the Finals? LMAO... That's a bit of a stretch IMHO. That sounds like one hell ogf a punchline (and it would still be, even if you said that Lin would have "carried" the Knicks to the Finals) , but let's see how it goes. I'd predict that Lin would probably get hurt long before that, and duck out by claiming that being at 85% isn't enough to return. If the Knicks and Rockets met in the finals, I'm for the Knicks winning in 7 or less too... I still remember 1994 very well, and that would be some vengeance served cold that has been a LONG time coming. Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year.

We could've, at the very least, used him to get back some value. |

Your gonna like Pabloco when he starts playing for us. Lin was great for us, but now he is gone. The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense.

I'm anxious to see what Prigioli brings to the table. I'll be watching him on Sunday, when Team USA plays Argentina. Another season, and more adversity to persevere through.
