I see you have opened your eyes.. but no worries. Hopefully Lin comes back and with Stat/Camby/Lin/Kidd/Chandler/Novak our luvable clown has the supporting cast he deserves and needs to lead us out of the first round and everyone is happy.

Yes. Barring injury, if our fat dumb, dogger clown does not lead us out of the first round I say we trade the fukka

no need to personally attack the guy. But I agree. To bad we cant just amnesty him and just fill in those missing shots with someone else that shoots 46%. I wonder if we could find someone

I happen to know it is not Woody's fault. It's a guy on the maintenance crew who somehow screwed this all up while fixing a toilet at msg.

Next thing you know, it's Melo fault that Amare blows his back out dunking the first game of the season.

Listen he's not solely to blame on this. Knicks organization pretty much showed their cards. But when the Head coach makes a statement like this, it might as well be a full disclosure.

Last I checked Woody's not the GM or James Dolan.

Melo's salary matches up with Nets

Gereld Wallace 4year 10m each,
Kris Humphries 2 year deal 12 min HONESTLY MELO can OPT out of 2015, right in the summer as well, but KEEPING options open is what we should do, look in the best interest of the team, and put our feelings aside. This could mean, either Lin or Melo going, there is too much drama, and Melo wants to be the #1 man.
Melo is a selfish individual that doesn't make rational decisions, always wants the ball and the spotlight, and always talks to the media because he likes the attention.

From George Karl comments about him not moving the ball, the whole trade with Denver/NY, Dantoni, Lin, CARMELO is the one that constantly looks to use the media and acts like an angel.
He is a the dream queen. He is what he is, it is fine, but don't act innocent and constantly play stupid like that.

depending on how Wallace/Humphries Nets are playing vs Melo/Knicks we could get as much as 2 1st round picks....lets them STARPHUCK at his its highest and make this NET/KNICK RIVALRY MUCH MORE INTENSE.........

We do not have a player that is versatile, athletic, big enough/strong/long, and good enough defensively to defend Lebron.
Sending a deal at the deadline, would save our cap issues, give us a perfect player to defend Lebron/Durant and those type of players that we would have trouble with, and become a TEAM play.
Bring back Dantoni as an offensive coordinator for all I care, trade, JR SMITH if he opens his mouth one more time, this is Lin's time to shine if he shows he is capable of doing it....

NOTICE 2:15 in the clip, score tied 1st OT, and 2 players are open as he sees is tripled team * he possibly only sees 2 people defending him* but with 3 players defending him
In that scenario with the last possession *he does not give it to the open man, with FIELD WIDE OPEN, and he is unable to get the shot off* with 2 players WIDE OPEN Fields that he sees and Iman, instead he wants the spot light, even if his team mates are open, and he cannot get a good look and get the shot off, while his team mates are wide open.
Under the circumstances, with the score TIED, final possession, he has no reason to NOT give it to the open man, when he knew he was not going to going to get a good look

:55 in the clip, he has established good position first, and made an amazing shot to tie the game up, I do not mind his first shot under that scenario, even with Iman wide open.
He gave us a chance to win the game by hitting the shot to bring us in to OT.

1:17 in to the video, look what happens when he moves the ball and utilizes Fields as he was open, he gets the ball right back, for a great look, and takes a great shot.

Melo does not see this as a problem, he sees it as his opportunity to shine, and this is Melo's style of play.
He wants the ball in his hands at all times, especially under ALL game winning opportunities, but fails to make the correct play.

Lin on the other hand, utilizes all his team mates, and attacks the opponents defense, to create good shots for the TEAM, and lets everyone touches the ball.
Melo does not want the ball in Lin or anyone else's hands and he wants all the glory at all times.

How can Lin want to come back to this type of "system", "leader", *shot selection*, and Melo does not see this as a problem.
When Lin know's he can get a better % shot, with a better look, and he is the PG of the team.
He is the only one on the team that has the ability to use his speed/quickness/handle and ability to penetrate to get whoever on the team the better look...

Even Grunwald said that he anticipated matching the Lin offer sheet. It was a forgone conclusion.

Yea if that's what happened its pretty cut throat by Lins camp. But can't blame him for getting a better deal. I don't think it's reason enough for Knicks not to keep him. I still say he's not going anywhere. This whole crisis is created by fans and media.

I agree with you and have said this all along.

The knicks are just pissed and rightly so (maybe). However, Dolan does not have the discipline to walk away from this though I believe his finance people are saying that he should.

Dolan acts irrationally and here we are.

Woodson did help screw this up but not because he said we would match....he screwed this up by not showing any confident in Lin to the point that he bitched him out in exit interviews and as soon as the season ended, also said Lin would have to fight for starting job next year (which I commented on at the time and said that it was ridiculous for him to say that).

Woodson has done a 180 since (and said Lin would start) because he realized he was retarded to say that but too little too late....if D'Antoni was here, I doubt Lin tries to screw us over by increasing the offer with Houston after the verbal commitment....

The front office made this so much worse too by not making an offer to Lin at beginning of FA....smart move by letting the most popular player in the NBA test the open market and get the best offer instead of showing him he is wanted in NY.
