Man, this thread makes me feel soo old. I never knew I'd watch Phil Jackson playing for the Knicks and then years later watch him coaching the Lakers here. Things get old. I get old, although I try to avoid that by hanging out with guys 10+ years younger than me that love watching NBA. Only one buddy here is my age and he's a diehard Celtics fan. It was not easy being a Knicks fan back then, not easy being a fan now. Yet nothing's going to change. I'm still resisting to buy anything from the Knicks until Jimmy Dolan gives it up. I almost bought the Lin jersey just because it'd be cheaper for me since we have same last name and I don't mind number 17. But that might not happen and the good side is, I can continue not buying anything from the Knicks until Jimmy Dolan is dead. I still got my old Knicks jersey tho. Why change teams now? I don't know. Maybe I'm just a sucker believing in loyalty. I still jam to Rapper's Delight whenever the lyrics get to: "I got a color tv so I can see the Knicks play basketball..."
