This. And Dolan is more concerned with selling tickets than actually winning a championship. He wouldnt mind winning a chip, but if he has to have some down years to get there then it isnt worth it.

We'll see if he's really concerned with selling tickets than actually winning a championship.. only if he re-signs Lin. Otherwise, he's going for something, but not money or championship..

I stopped paying attention to loyalty ever since the CBA. It's all about money and how a team can make more money even if they don't win the championship.. I'm still a diehard Knicks fan but I know Jimmy Dolan doesn't care about us and only whoever pays the season tickets and buys his products. I just think it's a dumb move what they did so far with Jeremy Lin.. he's obviously a golden goose and a somewhat loyal player except you forgot the organization wanted to see him test the water... test the water.. that's like letting your filthy hot wife to go out clubbing alone and see if she can get a divorce from you...

Do whatever you like, but if you switch, I don't think you were ever a diehard fan in the first place...

Simmons is funny in that classic M******* manner. If you change your allegiance this summer, you don't need to get permission from a Celtics fan.

If you or your family is from Brooklyn, or if you were a Nets fan back in the ABA days, you get a pass from me, for what that's worth.

I think djsunyc was a diehard... so hard that when this beloved team broke his heart and embarrassed him one too many times, he decided to head north. I find it curious, almost admirable... a Canadian expansion team! Quirky!

The Knicks can be hard to root for. We are rooting for an entertainment corporation, not the local squad sponsored by the hardware store. A founding — and floundering — NBA franchise.

So Brooklyn: why not. You won't get any hate from me. Just hope I get to see a championship banner in the Garden before one in Barclays.

You know guys, my post wasn't about switching allegiances to Brooklyn, though obviously that's an option for some people, it's about not supporting the Knicks as long as Dolan is running things. For some people that would mean switching to another team, like the Nets; for others it would mean not watching the NBA anymore; I think for me, if I could ever bring myself to do it, I would probably just watch basketball with no actual rooting interest in a team.
Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

My interest in the Knicks as a basketball team declined considerably during the Isiah Thomas era. Now I follow them for the sheer spectacle. Try it. it's fun!

That's real talk, even though those same "fans" will cry you a river before they accept that truth.

True fans don't switch up- only bandwagon riders do.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Yes, enjoy your fabulous recent history of attempting to be the worst team in league history.

Nice retro logo, too. Really cool. The Barclays Center. Shouldn't that be called the Bailout Center?
