Can't LA offer him the most money? Why leave Blake Griffin? Why leave LA for Indiana of all cities? Ewww...
Yep, but he has not yet agreed to sign that extension.
So not sure if Clippers will take his word for it or do what they do best, REBUILD, and REBUILD.
The only weakness Pacer's has is their PG, they have all their future draft packs, cap room, and plenty of young/athletic players as assets in all positions.
Rumor is that he want's to wait till the end of the year for more money like Deron Williams, with a 5 year 100m deal.
Even if they do not get CP3, at least they would have a legit offer for him, it is a never ending cycle in The NBA, you want to always be able to improve your team, and collect assets.
The more assets and flexibility you have, the more you power the team has, the brighter future, and be able to make moves/decision with them.
There will always be a FA available and trade talks that will come up, more assets you have, the more power/decisions you have the ability to make.
New York always mortgages their future and in time they will pay for it.
Unlike the past years, The Knicks were able to buy 1st/2nd round picks, and take more risks, but with the new CBA, we could only spend 3m a year.
Mahimi/Plumblee
Hibbert/Plumblee
Plumblee
David West *final year*
I think they are a top 5 front court trio in the entire league.
They very well balanced, under rated, and compliment each other, they are not big names.
All are big, versatile, young, and long with good BB IQ.
Hibbert has to continue to develop, but the Pacers had to match the offer.
Almost all rookies that have ALL STAR potential, you must take the risk to keeping them, if not they will most likely walk off.
