knicks are desperate for perimeter depth. this guy's got an NBA body and can obviously score the ball. bring him into camp and see what he can do. like the signing a lot; love that we are going over to EUR and scouting these guys. prigioni (spanish league), flight white (italian), and copeland (belgium) all could be strong, cheap pickups.

We needed someone behind Melo and this guy is a SF with a similar style of play. No complaints about him not having a well rounded offensive game. Inside and outside game looks decent so it's a good move IMO. The thing I like is that since this is a NOW team, Glen has done the right thing going with players that should be hungry after playing in Europe and with the playing experience they have it should make for some really solid performances off the bench.

Basically Glen is following the San Antonio model of really mining the Euro Leagues for talented role players and prospects. If you don't have draft picks this is one way to find players that can fill needs. You don't always have to look for stars when a solid role player can help so much.

John Wallace might be another good comparison. I would like them to sign more of physical banger type, but whatever. This don't will probably spend most of the season on the inactive list anyway.

Tolliver has the size to play both Forward spots and he iss a good rebounder.

I think these are all steals at vet min.

I observed the same "Sprewell-esque" similarities, too. Talent and Fire. We'll soon see if he has the lethal combination on a consistent basis like Spree did, too.

As long as he is more consistent than Billy Walker he will be o.k. Also, lets not forget that he will just play a role here and not be a star. Defense, threes, and rebound plus post up maybe.

peep it yourself....the talent isn't the nba but skill does translate everywhere....there will be a certain issues like confidence and rules, but the dude is american.....born in orange, new jersey. Shouldn't be so bad. We're not gonna ask him to drop 20 pts a game for us....he'll be looked at to backup Melo....he also has to earn trust over a guy like Novak, with James White also here with something to prove.
