Amar'e is not untradeable. That is ridiculous. Just depends what you want in return. A lot of teams don't have cap money to burn.
That being said, almost every trade proposal for Amar'e leaves us worse off than where we were before. At this point, most proposals have us getting sixth man talent, at best... and Amar'e is better than that. Amar'e was not healthy last season and his brother died. That being said, Amar'e even not at his best, can produce 18 and 8. In the best case, the guy get 22-25 ppg, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks. You want to get rid of Amar'e, give me someone who can produce similar numbers at PF, since we'd have a gaping hole at PF, otherwise.
Our window with the current roster is 3-4 years to get good enough to contend for a title in a hurry. So, any trade to reduce cap is pointless at this point. We're over, no matter what. Trades to get younger for lesser talent, are also pointless, because it defeats the purpose of the Carmelo Anthony trade. After most of the trade proposals I've heard, our best chance to win a title is still with Amar'e. So, enough. These guys can find a way to play together and be efficient, by modifying their games. If they can't do that, then they're not professionals, and the supporting cast is irrelevant, because we were never sniffing a title no matter what. End of story.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
