I like Felton but I trust Kidd's leadership & ability to get everyone involved than a felton/amare one dimensional pick n roll. Awesome news made my day!

If the Knicks sign Lin and then S/T him to the highest bidder
after securing Felton, I'm going to cheer like crazy.

You can't match and trade. Knicks wouldn't be able to trade Lin for 90 days.

And Kidd just got the MLE, so there's no way to sign Felton unless they get him via a S&T with Portland.

But.....Lin does not have a signed offer sheet, so there is no "match".
Sign and trade him to Houston like BRIGGS suggests for Jeremy Lamb and #1 pick.

Kidd and Tyson got the cred to lead.

Adds a dimension to dilute Melo "leadership"

This looks good to for mentorship for Lin to be the new Jedi.

Kidd is still a clutch guy. Lin has the stones to deliver.

Kidd don't make or break a team but its a nice addition and more vet leadership.

I think Kidd and Lin is a better fit as a PG tandem than Felton and Lin, so I'll say that.

I hope Kidd can be a good mentor... and not the guy who yanked Lin to the floor by his hair...

Kidd played with Melo in the '08 Olympic Gold medal squad...that's gotta mean something right as far as veteran leadership goes right? 2 Champions on the Knick roster, Kidd and Chandler, can only be a good thing.

I hate this move- what a waste of the MLE. Kidd is past it, he'll be mike Bibby soon. At least Felton could play defense. Urgh....

He wont be starting and playing big minutes like he did last year. 15mins is all. Now lets get Camby & a sg!!

I dunno.

If Lin doesn't come back, I might be done.

kidd will except his role without a problem. Felton who knows. One bad game from Lin and the media will make sure lin loses his confidence and goes to the bench

I think its a good signing. Kidd knows how to play the position as well as anyone ever. Hopefully he will help Lin cut down on turnovers and improve his D
