I like the way Felton pushes the ball up and plays d. He can run the pick and roll, create off the dribble and hit an open shot.

Felton via trade would be awesome we'd be able to add camby with the LLE and a SG to start who can actually shoot. Hupefully with the 1.3 vet min

Felton has heart and he plays with the idea that competition is everything....

At the same time he is a country biscuit eating mofo....he spends the summer chillin out hard eating that southern cooking and trys to come to training camp and get into shape. He's too old for that.....I hope he can learn his lesson.

Can anyone confirm that he is back with us? Felton makes the Knicks alot better adding him with Lin.

And both hit big shots and point to the new york across their chests. Nice to have another guy who wants to be here

Unimaginative??..Guy was balling for us a year and a half ago..

With Dantoni and in shape. Not sure he can ball under Woodson but as Lin's backup and insurance its a good move. I know you wanted Felton all along so I give you credit. If he is in shape and plays well he is a better option than Kidd because he would slide right into the starting role whereas Kidd could only do it for a few games. And Felton gets his number 2 jersey back cos Landry is gone!

Im confident Felton can run a pick and roll to Amare without MDA on the sidelines...He is a good defender and rebounder which will be great with Woody defense...When Shump gets healthy, that will be a good defensive backcourt...

You always make it so easy to disappoint yourself. Yes, of course he got more than the vet min.

Fair enough. It's a grumpy time in Knick land. For $3 mil I think Felton is an OK deal. He can run the pick and role with our two big men. I think we'll see at least 10 min a game of Felton and Lin on the court together.

I liked Felton when he was here, but the problem I have with him is that will he be happy being a backup to Lin? He had problems in Denver and that is one of the reasons they shipped him out.

Im ok with that until shump gets back. Felton can defend the better backcourt player and Lin is adequate at 6'3. Completely opposite of a nash/lin small backcourt defensively

I think so. He loved being in NY and is probably ecstatic to come back. He was really grumpy after we traded him to Denver like a ragdoll

You player your best players. If Felton plays well, he'll see at least 28 mpg. He'll just end up spending more time on the court with Lin.

I agree I am really looking forward to the season even more now. Yes its gonna be hard getting past Miami but we can give them a run for their money if we keep on with making right complimentary moves to complete the roster

if we keep Lin and add Felton its a coup.

Felton is the strong defender we need at PG and with Lin's health he will get plenty of time. Since Lin is more a scorer he can also play some SG until Shump is back

If he signs with us and we keep Lin, I'll be very happy, but as I have said a number of times, his weight issues are going to become an issue if he doesn't take his offseason conditioning more serious. He cannot keep using training camp/preseason/beginning of season to get himself in shape.

Totally agree...It's the only reason we can get him back on the cheap...He know the media scrutiny that exits here...My bet is he will be in shape and ready to go when the season starts

Whoop-de-damn do. I will believe it when I see it.

Not happy with all the crap and the Knicks losing out, while other teams get the pieces they want all the gotdamn time with minimal difficulty. It's a trend that I am growning very tired of.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I like this a lot. Felton was awesome for us. One of them can play SG, as mentioned. Both are 6'3" guards, so we're not completely outmatched if one is playing SG from time to time. If we get Felton, it ensures we get 48 minutes per game of solid PG play. This is something we were not getting last year.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Trading Odom for that exception was huge for LA. Allowed them to get Nash. Maybe it was their plan all along

No one can plan something like that. They just created an opportunity for themselves out of a negative situation. Kobe was furious when they traded Odom for nothing... but now he essentially got Nash back for nothing a year later.

Ironically, the Mavs wouldn't have had a trade exception to get Odom if it weren't for the Tyson Chandler trade to the Knicks. Talk about a poison pill.

Felton is 6'1 but he is a tough defender and takes pride in it and wearing the new york across his chest

Yeah, I loved Felton when he was here and I'm thrilled he's back.

He's good insurance if Lin gets injured and plays D, passes, can run the pick and roll with Amar'e, etc.

Hope he comes in to camp in shape.

I'm 100% positive we'll re-sign Lin as well.

But I'm also curious to see who Woodson starts. I think Woodson is gonna be more of a Felton guy, which could be interesting.
