Ya i mean giving houston the pick was bad mov e but other than that donnie did a good job. I cant blame him for not getting james since lebron/wade/bosh had that plan made for at least a year

I don't know if giving a scrub like Fields 20M is outsmarting anyone. It's a desperation move to get Nash.

I never said it was. In fact i said giving landry 7 million a year is beyond stupid. I meant that toronto has outsmarted us in our pursuit of nash i could care less about fields

Outsmarting someone is when the other party could've prevented something from happening. The Knicks actually put together a more than feasible plan when no one gave them a chance. No way they could prevent Toronto from offering Fields a crazy sum to block the Knicks creative maneuvering. It's not as if Toronto was going to even go after Landry had the Knicks not been in the Nash hunt. Knicks haven't been outsmarted. They've been out-desperate-ed.

Let the raps overpay for fields and Nash. Nash will have a worse team in TO than in phx. Let them freeze up north.

If Nash wants to go there, let him.
At least he is not going to Boston or Miami.

Fields was worthless in the playoffs and since melo came - good riddance.

That pick would have been gone in the melo deal any how, we probably would kave kept mosgov if we had the pick..then the persuit of tyson would have probably not gone down.

There was 1 major issue I had with walsh, other then sending the pick to houston, an that was Not calling the jazz about deron, we still would have lost couple a draft picks, but we would still have either gallo or chandlera. A package of felton 2 future 1st rounders fields and chandler would have wrk just fine.
