Great pt by crazymdups...i want nash to sign so we can move on
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

It's okay when you are Wade & Starks not so great when you are Jeremy Lin

What about when you are Jason Terry?

or Montee Ellis

Ellis is a great comparison in this case.

Ellis sucks. Terry is a great comparison.

Why, in the name of God, would you even WANT them on the floor at the same time?

Because they'd be our two best players and positions are overrated anyway.

I don't see it working. I am off the Nash boat unless we get him for that crazy Lando deal and have a plan B with a SG who can defend and shoot the 3. I can just see the Daily News polls about who should be the Knicks starting PG now. In all honesty I think I would rather have Kidd.

Both are interchangeable. Nash can play off the ball and spot up. He's a top-5 spot up shooter in the league. For whoever is concerned about them playing together, is concerned because of defensive liabilities. With players like Shumpert and Smith off the bench, it should be less of a concern. Nash would only be playing 30 mpg and Lin would be playing the other 18 at PG. If Lin plays 32 mpg, it means he's only playing 14 of the 48 minutes with Nash, so when it's all said and done, they aren't even playing alongside each other much.

Welcome back to the Mark Jackson/Mo Cheeks debacle.

There are so many examples of why this works, and Dumars is a great one. Having Smith and Shumpert off the bench makes this work even better.

Welcome back to the Mark Jackson/Mo Cheeks debacle.

Mark Jackson/Mo Cheeks, Jackson/Strickland, Ward/Childs, Marbury/Francis, Lin/Davis....it's a vicious cycle.
