Damn...I played with him once at the 14th street YMHA when Pete Vescey (who was regular there during the noon run) brought him to the gym. In my mind I thought "oh here's this ((scrub)) from the end of the Knick's bench, let's see what he's got after he's been out of the league for a minute". I learned very quickly that he had alot, shooting jumpers with ease from 30 feet out & dunking with either hand (sometimes backwards) on everybody in the gym. I learned a valuable lesson that day on the relative nature of being a so called ((scrub)) cause anybody & i mean anybody who has even had a tryout with a NBA team is 10X better than the best dude at the local Y.
