Lebron is the best player in the NBA. Hes a douche, but your happy if he's YOUR douche because when his defense was suspect he became one of the NBAs best. The dude works on his game, unlike out stars who are happy with making the playoffs and having nice stats

Yea, I couldn't congratulate him either but oh well, at least he gets his Not 1, not 2, not 3.... but will he get 8?

And at least this spared us from seeing him bawl on TV. And to me winning a championship does not make him less of a douche. Being a nicer human being still matters.

people will never forgive labron for that, never...He played some serious ball in this yrs playoffs, and no one can deny that. He deserves that ring, cause he earned it. without him that team is no better then a possible 8th seed.

There defense is crazy fustrating..They protect the 3ball and have the ability to rotate as fast as i ever seen a team do. They trap ball handlers and race back to the open man like he was never left open. They have a great defensive philosophy..Thanks to pat riley

Props. The chip is well-deserved. Mofo played like a real champ. MVP and best player in hoops, no doubt.

But he's still a douche, and I doubt I'll ever be a fan.

I've rooted for Celtics too
what I disdain about heat they begrudgingly do not give any credit to their coach Erik Spoestra
as matter of fact only Bosh, LBJ Partially in Game #4 win says positive stuff for 1st time on Coach Erik

Tonite at podium D-Wade gave all credit to team and To 'Coach Pat Riley' as Wade made sure he emphasize Coach Riley
until a reporter had to ask him a direct question on Coach Erik S, which D-Wade stumbled on words.

Wade is a phony and I disdain him most
a terrific player but even Bosh whom dont care for at least gives honest answers and low keyed.

Celtics shoulda taken them out Game#6 in beantown
but it wasnt there time

Next yr it may be 2 different teams in finals OR
maybe OKC and Eastern NBA Champion, Heat had no serious injury bugs and they will be hard pressed to return again
who NBA world will gun for them & I dont buy into it HEAT Ego's wont be a factor.

Well, Spoelstra is Riley's puppet, err, I mean student, still. Anyone who thinks Riley doesn't still make that team what it is is fooling themselves. Probably why he doesn't get the credit. But hey, he's got his second ring, and was happy as hell last night, and looked fly as hell with the white shirt stained pink from gatorade and the backwards snap-back. Well done Erik.

Actually showed a back to the basket/post up game this year- I don't recall seeing that running short hook bank shot he almost never misses.

Still an ahole, for many reasons, but he is the most versatile player in the game today, and as you say, he has actually worked on almost every aspect of his game, and in a way that is clearly visible to a fan of the sport.

Hopefully the refs stop giving him every call now that he has his title. The Fisher "flagrant" was one of the worst calls I have ever seen- if I was OKC I would actually have the NBA look at it, just to be a pain in the ass.

bron and wade are the only real athletic players, and they don't have size other then bosh..they don't defend with size and athletics..they defend with a scheme, a well thought out scheme that forces players to go one on one..get bottle up, try and pass, get the ball stolen. If you some how manage to get the ball to a open guy, there runing top speed at you hands in the air..

when you move the ball around the parimeter..the follow it like cat does a mouse..

I see the Heat winning 4 out of 6 overall, so 3 out of the next 4 seasons, I think they'll win the championship. My guess is OKC slips it out one year and sneaks in a title.

Hey what about us?

Best case: Lose in 7 in the ECF. I'm not confident we'll even have an ECF birth during the next four years. Our ceiling is a not a championship, until proven otherwise, IMHO. Our three best players are all at/slipping past their prime.

Chalmers is a very athletic defender. Battier is a GREAT defender. Bosh is very long and athletic. Sure its a scheme, but the scheme works better when your defender are Revis, Rod Woodson and Ronnie Lott.

The Decision was offensive. I don't get how you could not see that. He acted like a complete douchebag after Miami lost last year and intentionally tried to play up the villain. But it's clear he was not suited for it, and is actually a nice guy who just made some stupid decisions. I do agree that it's time to let it go.

I hate his flopping. It hurts the game. He's the most athletic and skilled player in the league and flops around like a girl pretending to be hurt. Thats what I hate about him. Best player in the league

That's true. Hopefully, the league will take measures to reduce/prevent the flopping in the game. It's not just LeBron. James Harden is a major flopper too. Half the league flops worse than a fish out of water. Enough already. Play the damn game.

I watched a game on one of the courts in NYC. They just played hard, no flopping. Why the NBA has to make a show of it, it hurts the game.

There have been stars with far worse personalities that didn't get this much hate. People want the best player in the NBA to have a Derek Jeter personality but it doesn't always work that way. Take a look at all the charitable work Lebron has done. He's immature but he's not the face of evil.

I didnt not grow up loving BB. I started following in the late 80s early 90s. Nobody flopped back then. Nobody. Vlade Divac was the only one and I give him a pass cause he smokes. All the running is hard on the lungs. Gotta take a rest. MJ, Pippen, Barkley, Ewing, Hakeem, Payton, Stockton, Malone, Isiah, Dumars, Robinson, Duncan, Drex... we could do this all day. Nobody flopped. Lebron flopping is such a travesty. Keith Van Horn didnt flop!

I agree with you. But the Decision was a public relations nightmare. If he had not done the Decision and made $6 million or whatever it was, off the event, I'm sure there would've been a different view.

This right here, for me. And he whines a lot to the officials. He's not a bad human being, just completely oblivious sometimes and apparently too easily swayed by a-holes in his entourage.

Then again, what do you except when for the better part of your career you walked around downtown and saw a ten story picture of yourself with the words "We Are Witnesses" on it?

Lebron and the "witness" campaign was born in the new age of media and the hype this kid had coming out of high school.

Jordan built his hype thru achievement. First in college (clutch winning shot)and then as a high flying scoring machine. IN college Jordan was not "jordan" quite yet.

The decision was a bad one but well documented.

Personally I could not stand Jordan as he was a Knick killer back in the day.

Lebron has not killed us yet. No, we are not worthy if any Lebron vs. knick rivalry.

Despite all that, I'd have forgiven their arrogance to don a knick uniform.

LeBron played us! I don't like him & will never be a fan. BUT The man's a beast Let's give him Props.
