I hope you are right and I think this needs to be considered. Also, Douglas is a high character guy noted for his tremendous work ethic. However,he was horrible last year and it was a huge mistake for the Knicks to start the season counting on him to be their point. After last season, it might be a huge mistake to count on him to contribute at all.
i like douglas and i still feel he could help us. I dont think he ever recovered from his shoulder surgery until the end of the season

See, that's a common misconception. He doesn't play d. He gambles for every steal and falls asleep into a coma when he's not guarding the ball. He has bad instincts and a lack of focus. And that's just one half of his game. If he learned how to play proper d and played SG on offense he might actually be a valuable bench player.

Under MDA everyone is a bad defender. The system doesn't promote great defense it just promote getting back on offense to shoot ASAP.

So shoulder surgery might explain how he front-rimmed 99% of his shots last year. Every time it was short, from all angles. I felt/feel bad for the guy.
I think trading him for a second rounder would do his career a lot of good.

Shoulder surgery doesn't change the fact he isn't a PG.

Maybe we screwed with his head trying to make him into a point.

So maybe he is closer than we think. Maybe he is over the tough part of conversion.

And if so, we don't have that on the UK do we? Awful season for him. If he has no upside he is untradable and out of the league next season.

Or he build on what he was doing the year before.

Being a point for Woodson is not like being one for MDA.

Tune in and find out.

Who ever proclaimed that td doesnt play d...my friends use that argument...and they get that argumwnt cuz hollinger stated that in his scouting report...that he gambles and loses focus...smh

Td is an EXCELLENT defender...only shump is better at one on one d

The problem with td is that hes not a natural pg...when he comes off the pnr hes looking for his own shot instead of passing.

It also sux that his shot was flat....i still think he could help...at 8mins per game

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Good Point. I mean mentioned shoulder surgery and got attacked by come people lol. I never said he was a natural pg he isnt he is more of a two guard. But TD has a history of shoulder problems. I had atorn rotator cuff and it really took me a year to get my outside shot back to the way it was

You need to learn fundamentals buddy. One on one D isn't everything. I'm not gonna re-post everything. Seems like you got tunnel vision that all you watch is the ball(just like TD)
