That's my only fear as well. With our luck, Bdiddy and Bibby, it'll happen that way.

Is NY becoming the prime dump site for every aging guard in the NBA? Maybe we can start an over the hill, one tweak away from a wheelchair Free Agency forum?

Dallas caught Haley's comet's lightening bolt in a glass one year.

Let that balloon go. Please.

an old former allstar on his last leg interested in NY. Is Layden still in charge...

No thank you Ray. We could have used you years ago but, you were injury prone when young and your still prone to injury. Age will only increase the likeliness of you getting injured and buried on the bench. We love your jumpshot when its on but, how often will you be able to contribute on the floor for us.

Sorry Ray be we need to head in a different direction. Good luck in the twilight of your career.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

He would start for us. At this point he is not a starter for the Celtics next season. Also, we can pay him the bi annual exception, which is double the vet minimum. Those are 2 reasons.

Ideally, if RayRay were willing to play for us I'd rather see him play like 20-25 minutes a game and have him in tip top shape heading into the playoffs vs how he is now. it's tough to watch him right now because when he has wide open dagger 3s like the one that coulda put the heat away in regulation he misses them.

so yeah if the fact that we want him more than Boston convinces him to come I'm all for it. i just like keeping my hopes nice and low so they don't get crushed.

Is this a joke? Ray would be the best SG on the Knicks, sad as that may be.

With Fields, possibly Smith, and eventually Shumpert, we can defnitely keep his minutes down.

Ray Allen for the minimum? That's a miracle.
