Dallas is too old.

Brooklyn is his best bet. Nets still have cap space.

Dallas has cap room as well as, with Dirk, good coach in Carlisle, and he's from there. Nets can't keep him if Dwight Howard doesn't come to Brooklyn, and they don't even have the #1 pick to dangle as trade bait, let alone their own draft pick(Pick #6 traded to Portland in Gerald Wallace deal).

Dallas has to gut the team to sign Deron Williams.

Deron Williams decision will be about the $$$$.

Brooklyn will have more guaranteed money and endorsements.

2012 Free Agents

Eric Gordon
Kevin Garnett
Michael Beaslely
Kenyon Martin
Roy Hibbert
Javale McGee
Ray Allen

Not the greatest but they can fill out the roster with guys. A good PG could make McGee very good.

Plus they could deal Deron Williams. They could flip Lopez for a lottery pick.

Point is they have options.

Deron isnt staying he is gone i mean thst pretty clear

Deron Williams isnt going anywhere.

Everyone thought Lebron was going to NYC.

Now everyone thinks Deron is leaving. Deron is only opting out to get a 5 yr deal.

Brooklyn > Dallas

Dallas is his hometown but 25 million is 25 million. Brooklyn will be a free agent destination whether Deron is there or not.

The draft is a crap shoot. Losing the 6th pick for Walllace is a good deal.

Boston traded Jeff Green for Ray Allen. Who was and is still the better player?

I believe there's a nice free agent class a year away so maybe Deron sticks around another year.

Deron would be doing the Nets a favor if he left. The Nets are more screwed if they give him a $100 mil contract.

If winning is his biggest priority, he should go to Miami.

Amare to Nets and DWil to Knicks. NY gets pg and Nets get a star. It will be a very sad affair because of what he did for us as in turn a corner in the right direction. It wont be the most popular thing but would make sound business.

Melo

It would be great business for the Knicks. I don't think there is anyway that the Nets trade D-Will to the Knicks. I also don't think there is a team in the league that would give the Knicks anything close to D-Will talent for Amare. If King plays his cards right he could do very well in a trade on draft night.

I don't think so, these player/team options usually need to be used within a few days of the end of the season. Deron Williams will probably be a free agent well before draft night.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

I think it would take DWill saying trade me to the knicks for a resigned contract that is equal to Amare contract or I am walking to Dallas and you get nothing.

Amare and t. douglas for resigned DWil and a 2 round pick.

Something tells me dragic will end up in bk after dwill leaves
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better
D-Will is as good as gone
