Spurs were awesome tonite.

OKC looked clueless in the 4th.

They looked like the knicks. Didn't know what to do or execute the plan.

The Spurs represent the model of a great franchise. No controversies, no stupid talking, just good old fashioned teamwork, great coaching, great balance of stars and role players and good decision makers in management. Everything the Knicks are not, actually.

The role players do their thing. Neal? Dude came up big! Obi-Won Ginobli was huge. I told my son to watch what he does without the ball. His cuts and how he gets his pass. Then he goes around that double screen with precision and gets free.

I hope Melo was watching for inspiration. No, I don't expect him to be that, but Manu at his age, Ray Allen and Reggie miller were super effective into their 30's by being able to shake free and work hard off the ball. Melo can shoot, but if we are really to ever evolve he has to play a role. Role as super closer is cool and needed but there will be times he will be denied and the ball has to go else where, and then with some work it can come back.

This is not to bash him but to hope he can improve as a player.

Spurs are great with guys like Manu who do so many things well. Duncan was a super fundamental freak even in college and its great to see him keep and improve those skills all those years. Never "athletic" he just plays old school.

Spurs feel good story this year. I like OKC as well but this year Im pulling for the spurs. OKC youngblood will have lessons to learn.

And Im not counting them out! They are a great team!

Would hate to see Miami or Boston take it - not a fan of either team.

Ewing never won a championship amd Duncan won some so later for San Antonio give me OKC.

San Antonio just does everything the right way and Pop is just a legendary coach. Let Duncan go out with a bang!

I CANT root for KG, Pierce, and a boston team. I dont want LeBron to win but if it came down to it I'd give LeBron one over the C's. I hate Westbrook's ball hogging and I honestly cant stand KD's method of drawing ticky tack fouls. So I'm rooting for the damn spurs....

I don't understand the hate for those guys. They're awesome talents and it's not like their convicted criminals. They've all beaten up on the Knicks but that's just doing the job they're paid to do. If they were on the Knicks you'd love them. Maybe if we were a legit team like in the 90s, I could understand hating players on rival teams but we haven't been good enough to have rivals in decades.

Simple process of elimination.

Can't pick SAS, even though Duncan's good, because they gave us our last Finals beat down. You see, I'm a Knick fan, so that still bothers me.

Boston is boston and the thought of them winning anything, including a single game anymore is annoying. They have enough damn banners and KG is rapidly becoming my least favorite athlete.

Anyone who voted for Miami should be banned from the site. I don't care what your logic is about validating our own starphucquing. Hopefully, by some miracle of brain physiology, you tolerance loving people can understand hate for those guys.

Durant's just scary good and the franchise is so incredibly irrelevant, it would be like the Cubs winning a world series; a nice story that really doesn't matter. We talking bout Oklahoma? Oklahoma? Still sounds like a CBA/NBDL franchise.
So go OKC, and jimmie cracks corn!

NYK. After that it's like Who gives a sh1t
Bill Simmons on Tyreke Evans "The prototypical 0-guard: Someone who handles the ball all the time, looks for his own shot, gets to the rim at will and operates best if his teammates spread the floor to watch him."
