i use to think that, but gaining weight would slow him down could lose some reach, and his game could change with his physical change.
Look at how big Kobe one year when he bulked up, he lost the speed and quickness, and lost some shooting touch, while he had strength.
He quickly changed by his diet/training, as he didn't like the changes that came with it.

He is not weak by any means, while he has great length, good athleticism, good speed/quickness, with awesome range.
I think he deserved MVP, over Lebron, his ability to hit the 3pointer, cannot be contested
With infinite range and the ability to blow by you if you tried to contest it or draw a foul for 3 points, its just not fair.

OKC, should take a page out of the Spurs, and learn to move the ball much more consistently.
They do rely on their shot and 1v1 way too much, not utilizing all the players as threats enough.
They actually have some good players, good depth, and nice shooters, and big men.
But if they are serious about building a Dynasty, they have to stop being pre MeloDonna's *Westbrook, especially* and play some TEAM ball.
1v1 will only take u so far, but once you get your team involved, it will open up everybody's game because they wouldn't know who to guard and to cheat or not.

I finally realize how flipping bad the LA LAKERs are

They let a jumpshooting team wailing crap get hot and beat you with jumpers and nothing more

LA is or has become real soft

This sux and I aint even a laker fan

I just refuse to believe you win NBA titles and series
with a jumpshooting , rolling the dice 3s wailing club the OKC Thunder is

they are nice and fun to watch
but if you're gonna let a team shoot bad shoot good shoot bad then shoot and win games with jumpers
and you get beat for a title like that then the NBA has become crap cause this isnt way to win and
whole NBA league gotta be really bad and OKC must be really good with their flings to the basket.

Amazing
Lakers are dont & I'm p_ssed

Lets hope Spurs dont fall into these traps of letting a jumpshooting team stay in a game to win it!
Horrible NBA play these days!

Their transition game is similar to the Heat, they beat you on TOs, with the combination of

Length
Speed/quickness
Athleticism
Strength

Yeah, I don't think Perkins is all that great without KG but, imagine if they use their MLE this summer, adding a great of FA's?

KG
Camby

LLE or breaking up the MLE

Mahimi
Brandon Wright

there are a lot of options with this team, heck they can even trade for Dwight Howard if they really wanted.
Harden or Westbrook/ and Perkins should be enough to get it done, maybe throw in Alrich or/and a 1st round pick, just to give anyone with doubts.
They have so much talent on that team its not even funny, with Nick Collison, making 1-2 m with a multi year deal, he is a 5x better than Jared Jeffries, and locked long term.

If OKC, doesn't win it all this year, which SA, just might knock them out, with good ball movement, and depth.
I wonder would they consider trading Harden or Westbrook with Perkins and maybe Alrich to us for Tyson Chandler?
They might asked for Iman in return, and I would throw in Fields, maybe TD, to lower our salary as well.
If Iman never got hurt, I probably would not even consider this, but would love for him to stay.
It would be a hard decision for us because Tyson Chandler >>>> than Perkins
Tyson Chandler, Amare, and Melo, just do not mix together, I think we have to trade at least one of the 3.

but

Harden >>> than anyone on the Knicks

OKC will have to pay Harden and Ibaka big $$$ in 2 years, if they want to keep them.
Harden will get a max offer from some team and Ibaka will get at least 12 million a year.
With Durant and Westbrook making max already, they will eventually have to decide if they want to have 3 max players + Ibaka to keep.
After this year, Perkins has 3 years left, making 7.8m, 8.5m, and then 9.15m.

OKC teams combination of length, athleticism, speed/quickness, ability to penetrate, and shooters is just unreal.
To me, Westbrook and Harden are both willing to take bad shots, but they shouldn't really, the only one that should have the green light to do that is Durant.
One or maybe 2 players should have the green light to take bad shots at times, but 3 players willing to take bad shots, could be a disaster if those shots don't go in.
I personally think Harden >>> Westbrook but I would love to have Westbrook/Iman to be united together, and will be a defensive nightmare for most teams.

This is where OKc can perhaps perpetuate greatness by trading players before they age out or lose to free agency.

Turn them over for very high draft picks or younger players with upside.

Maybe even trade westbrook for two very good young players.

Then give Harden the 2nd spot for the team.

It takes some risk and insight. There may be thought that the team can grow up without westbrook. Some teams have good imaginations.

Thing with Westbrook is, he wants the spot light, while Durant just wants to win.
Durant is cleary >>>> Westbrook in terms of being the #1 option but Westbrook, continues to take many bad shots.
I think even Harden is >>>> Westbrook

He is quite open or half defended, but there is no motion, no passing, and absolutely kills team chemistry.
The shot, if missed, is usually vs a set defense with rebounding position, which would ignite a fast break.
I don't think its a bad shot to take its every now and then, just to keep the defenses honest.
But he takes it so much, that if they miss, no one is in position for OKC to even grab the rebound or ready to defend.
His willingness to take these shots, kills team play and even less touches to gain confidence with ball movement.
It's kinda like Melo shots vs the Heat, except they have legit threats and Durant and Harden are much better offensively than he is.
He does have some great physical abilities, but I think they can be fine without him, with more "team play and ball movement"

It's like Robin wanting to be Batman, or even a glimpse of Superman at times, not realizing he is little boy dressed in a costume.

I hated Westbrook during the draft and even called him Bustbrook.

The guy is a MONSTER. His shot selection is TERRIBLE and isnt a PG. Pretty much a slightly less explosive Derrick Rose.

Plus the guy NEVER gets injured.

The guy is the real deal. Thing is he you would have to have a facilitator at SG or SF next to this guy.

Westbrook on the Miami Heat would be minus Wade of course.
