LA is or has become real soft
This sux and I aint even a laker fan
I just refuse to believe you win NBA titles and series
with a jumpshooting , rolling the dice 3s wailing club the OKC Thunder is
they are nice and fun to watch
but if you're gonna let a team shoot bad shoot good shoot bad then shoot and win games with jumpers
and you get beat for a title like that then the NBA has become crap cause this isnt way to win and
whole NBA league gotta be really bad and OKC must be really good with their flings to the basket.
Amazing
Lakers are dont & I'm p_ssed
Lets hope Spurs dont fall into these traps of letting a jumpshooting team stay in a game to win it!
Horrible NBA play these days!
Their transition game is similar to the Heat, they beat you on TOs, with the combination of
Length
Speed/quickness
Athleticism
Strength
Yeah, I don't think Perkins is all that great without KG but, imagine if they use their MLE this summer, adding a great of FA's?
KG
Camby
LLE or breaking up the MLE
Mahimi
Brandon Wright
there are a lot of options with this team, heck they can even trade for Dwight Howard if they really wanted.
Harden or Westbrook/ and Perkins should be enough to get it done, maybe throw in Alrich or/and a 1st round pick, just to give anyone with doubts.
They have so much talent on that team its not even funny, with Nick Collison, making 1-2 m with a multi year deal, he is a 5x better than Jared Jeffries, and locked long term.
If OKC, doesn't win it all this year, which SA, just might knock them out, with good ball movement, and depth.
I wonder would they consider trading Harden or Westbrook with Perkins and maybe Alrich to us for Tyson Chandler?
They might asked for Iman in return, and I would throw in Fields, maybe TD, to lower our salary as well.
If Iman never got hurt, I probably would not even consider this, but would love for him to stay.
It would be a hard decision for us because Tyson Chandler >>>> than Perkins
Tyson Chandler, Amare, and Melo, just do not mix together, I think we have to trade at least one of the 3.
but
Harden >>> than anyone on the Knicks
OKC will have to pay Harden and Ibaka big $$$ in 2 years, if they want to keep them.
Harden will get a max offer from some team and Ibaka will get at least 12 million a year.
With Durant and Westbrook making max already, they will eventually have to decide if they want to have 3 max players + Ibaka to keep.
After this year, Perkins has 3 years left, making 7.8m, 8.5m, and then 9.15m.
OKC teams combination of length, athleticism, speed/quickness, ability to penetrate, and shooters is just unreal.
To me, Westbrook and Harden are both willing to take bad shots, but they shouldn't really, the only one that should have the green light to do that is Durant.
One or maybe 2 players should have the green light to take bad shots at times, but 3 players willing to take bad shots, could be a disaster if those shots don't go in.
I personally think Harden >>> Westbrook but I would love to have Westbrook/Iman to be united together, and will be a defensive nightmare for most teams.
This is where OKc can perhaps perpetuate greatness by trading players before they age out or lose to free agency.
Turn them over for very high draft picks or younger players with upside.
Maybe even trade westbrook for two very good young players.
Then give Harden the 2nd spot for the team.
It takes some risk and insight. There may be thought that the team can grow up without westbrook. Some teams have good imaginations.
