Make it a threeway trade where they can get rid of Nelson then yes I would do it. Also I doubt Orlando throw in Anderson even though I think they got a taste of how good Anderson really is without Howard. Big Baby actually was the one who carried them. More than likely they would throw in Reddick, more likely Richardson, but I would take Reddick since you have the option of terminating his contract after next year, I believe.

I love that people are worried Amar'e is washed up due to his bulging disc, yet no one is even remotely concerned about Howards HERNIATED disc and back surgery! Thats much worse than Amar'es- plus Howards game is solely based on athleticism, he's a huge risk now- at least Amar'e has a jump shot to help compensate. But the media seem to be completely ignoring it.

Also SAS hates Lin- he absolutely hates him! All he does is attack or criticise him- it's been that way since Linsanity. Love to know why.

Howard is huge question mark and I am not sure I would give up STAT/Tyson/Lin for him even before his injury. No player is worth that much. STAT and Tyson for DH and Hedo, I would have done last year, Hedo is an expiring this year, right? Now, his value is lower because of the injury. We should look to get him for less not more of our assets. But Dolan (like some idiot fans) will probably pull the trigger on that trade and I Know Woody will be all over that as well. If Lin is traded or marginalized by Woody next year, I will be really pissed( not that it matters).

Howard will seek max money.

His back as a preexisting might not be insurable.

If so, will orlando want to have a 100 mil man with that kind of risk exposure.

The nature of his operation and prognosis is unknown to me. He is young which is a plus.

SAS rants as if the trade is imminent and the volume he spews with a sense of urgency.

Dwight could be a free agent now but instead choose to opt in but in effect took away his ability to land on a team free and clear. He will be traded. His Waffling cost him the ability to go to the Nets who will now have to make a trade losing assets. The guy is a mess.

If you go back to linsanity SAS was actually praising lin and then the heat game happened and all of a sudden lin sucked in his mind. I mean he loves melo despite the fact that melo has one of the worst playoff winnign percentages in the league

Then there's the issue of point guard. Lin will look to capitalize on being a restricted free agent; how much will the Knicks have to pay to keep him? Will it be as a starter? And will it happen at the expense of getting their hands on a Steve Nash or a Goran Dragic?

Cant argue with that. Hindsight that plan wouldve been great. Fortunately Lin came along and saved our asses. Unfortunately it too til game #27 for mda to dust off lin & novak.
