I know it was high school but didn't he actually have an offensive game coming out. If I remember correctly he had a good shot with range.

After Lebron blocked his weak ass dunk attempt he stopped slashing to the rim. I counted at least three occasions where we got in the paint, forcing Tyson's man to help and this dude actually backed away from the rim. He ain't want it. Miami took his heart...

This. He needs to develop a jump hook. And I don't like Amare on the floor with him because if he has to help on D you know Amare ain't rotating or grabbing any boards.

A Healthy Amare is a much better finisher then Chandler. Chandler FG percentage is high cause he doesn't attempt anything outside of a layup. Amare career wise has had a high FG percentage while still taking jumpers. If Amare does come back healthy and with his jumper back..no way u move him to the bench.

Laughable how all of a sudden Tyson sucks.

He was easily our best player this year and is the mat valuable player on this team.

Some men see things as they are and ask why. I dream things that never were and ask why not?

Not sure that a player who was one of the top defensive players in the league and a very positive force in the team's chemistry on the court and off the court, deserves some of these comments or even this thread. Everyone know what you were getting with him offensively. He helped to coverup the defensive flaws of two very sporadic defenders who played alongside him on our frontline. People want to think that Woodson was some kind of defensive genius- fine- but without new additions Chandler & Shumpert (I'll include Lin, too, since he is a very underrated defender), and returning players like Fields and Jeffries, there is no defensive turnaround this year, Woodson or no Woodson.

On offense he is a player who needs a PG to set him up, and had little to do in our "system" without Lin/Davis/MDA in the picture, since the "system" was basically Anthony, Amare, or Smith going 1/1 in isolation.

Chandler's offensive success or failure depends on the kind of ball movement the team has going, so when his offensive numbers are down, you know its Iso-time for the Knicks.

I think this is why everyone is so upset. We needed Tyson to play like he did all season and he disappeared. I dont think Tyson sucks, but he did in this series. Clearly we need him to win...

He was the team MVP for 66 games. In the playoffs he was one of our worst players. Both true statements.

Whateves, haters.

Just like good perimeter defenders look like crap when they haven't an intimidating center behind them,

Good Frontcourt defenders need guards to slow down penetration so they can protect the paint.

Once Shump went down, it was hard for TC to do his job.

Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...
