Just at of curiosity who is the the point guard that we can get that is much better than lin and also retaining jr smith. Im just wondering. I mean im not saying lin is the best point guard hell i'd love to have nash or deron but they are out of our salary cap range.

I'd prefer a vet. Thing is Im inclined to trade Lin for pieces so we can get some other pieces and use the MLE to get a quality vet.

I'd love to get Mo Williams here, assuming he opts out.

Im talking about a vet still capable of producing at a high level.

He's a very good player, but even if he wasn't all that good, it would still, for any team, make sense to pay the guy. He'll make your money back and more.

He is only profitable if he continues to play well, otherwise he will fade and people will move on to the next hot thing. I'm not saying he won't be good, but there are definitely questions on his durability.

I dont think they are morons they just dont like lin for whatever reason. I mean he got injured but it happens sometimes it doesnt mean his is done i mean he is only 23 and is almost healed

Well, I wonder if the mods are going to shut this thread down because any talks about Lin being traded always gets shut down. I've said this since the beginning. Lakers have Lin name on their trade list and is waiting for the right moment to strike. If NYK is wishy washy about him, they're going to lose Lin.
