thank you.

Just at of curiosity who is the the point guard that we can get that is much better than lin and also retaining jr smith. Im just wondering. I mean im not saying lin is the best point guard hell i'd love to have nash or deron but they are out of our salary cap range.

I'd prefer a vet. Thing is Im inclined to trade Lin for pieces so we can get some other pieces and use the MLE to get a quality vet.

I'd love to get Mo Williams here, assuming he opts out.

This preference for vets in some vague general way instead of looking specifically at the team needs is absurd. The whole year the Knicks have needed a PG, and this need is particularly obvious in the playoffs. When Amare comes back next year, he's not productive without a PG feeding him. Want a vet? Here's Baron.

Ya its evident that a vertan point guard doesnt help unless he is steve nash of course that the only exception

I wonder if JKidd would take MLE
Mo Williams would be interesting.

Thats what I'd like to do too. Trade him while he's hot.

steve nash will get good money the other guys are pretty good. I wouldn't mind having any of those guys if we dont retain lin.

Baron is running on fumes dude.

Im talking about a vet still capable of producing at a high level.

If we keep Chandler we are going to need guards who can shoot.

Lack of shooting is huge for the Knicks. Now we know Novack can move on a set shot shooter I'm not spending on that.

He's a very good player, but even if he wasn't all that good, it would still, for any team, make sense to pay the guy. He'll make your money back and more.

He is only profitable if he continues to play well, otherwise he will fade and people will move on to the next hot thing. I'm not saying he won't be good, but there are definitely questions on his durability.

I think the try to trade Lin and stick the buyer with Amare. There will be a GM dumb enough to make that trade. Is Layden still working?

Morons. You can't seriously compare his GSW days with his NYK ones.

Not sure if Atrain and Anubis actually knows anything about the NBA. They sound like 13 year old to me.

Knicks dont need a to hit a home run if we trade Lin. Knicks just need a few guys capable of starting.

Even a deal like Ellis and Gooden for Amare and filler would be addition by subtraction.

Well, I wonder if the mods are going to shut this thread down because any talks about Lin being traded always gets shut down. I've said this since the beginning. Lakers have Lin name on their trade list and is waiting for the right moment to strike. If NYK is wishy washy about him, they're going to lose Lin.

It's going to be soon after Knicks lose game 4. So, this Sunday, if you're asking. I'm taking a vacation afterward.

Nope, Sessions and Lin together. The bench will be deep and Knicks will be stuck with TD, BD and Bibby.

Knicks are trying to win a championship now. We already wasted 2 years. So we are supposed to waste another year and hope Lin can produce for 82 games. Knicks dont have the luxury of time on our hands.

Tyson Chandler isnt Marcus Camby. Chandler has no post game, no jump shot, no handle. When he starts slowing down, and he will start slowing down, we will be royally screwed.

BTW, Im no Lin hater. Knicks just need to pick a direction and move forward. If they plan on keeping Amare and Chandler up front I suggest they trade Melo to the Brooklyn Nets for Deron Williams.

Pretty sure Williams wont turn Amare into a defender or rebounder nor will he magically give Chandler an offensive game.
