Im with Mins, I hardly care at this point. I was mad and lost all hope after Game 2, but after reading about Amar'e, Im trough with this mentally weak team. I don't say this out of anger, but trully meaning it: the Knicks are a joke.

How many 6 game winning streak followed 6 game losing streaks? How could we go for so long with a stubborn coach that was underachieving? How could we clinch a playoff berth and tank a game against the Cavs with playoffs seeding still fought? How could we be so mentally weak to allow Game 1 to happen even with the refs against us? How couldn't we have a statement game after an embarrassing horrendous Game 1? How could Amar'e be such an idiot cutting his hand?

Now we are about to set a record for consecutive losses in the playoffs? Our playground in the 90's? The last Knicks teams to make the playoffs have really ben a disgrace.

The Clippers didn't take it lying down. They fought to the very end. One point win is a one point win and it often the most annoying/frustrating kind of win for the opposing team that was dealt it.

The Clippers didn't play the heat.

amen. do people not realize that the heat are very very very good?

Well The Clippers didn’t tank the first half of the season, they play hard throughout the season therefore avoiding the top teams in the first round of the playoffs. With the talent that we have, we should be playing Orlando or Indiana at this point, unfortunately we chose this route my friend.

we didn't lose enough games - we should have gone for the 8th seed & faced Chicago, not because Rose got hurt, but because its easier to take their star out of the game, where with Miami you basically have 2 & 1/2 guys that can kill you.

But, the thread title really needs to be fixed by the mods, because

Agree, playing against one star team, is much better than the 2 & ½ Heat team.

Your NBA season is already over. You can now resume your regularly scheduled whining and moaning.

It ain't over until The Answer Ma sez it's over.

I love the optimism. I'm more a the glass is half full as opposed to half empty but Amare broke my glass and stabbed me in the heart with the shards.

Of course I will be watching but I'm not expecting anything more than the usual dissapointment after a L.

As long as we remove all fire extinguishers from our players' paths, it will be all right.

No, it has to go 7 games! We have to finish them off in their place! Imagine the whining! Imagine the flopping!

We need to go 2 and 1 over the next three.

That's doable! Remember the O-town games! Remember Indy!

The Clippers didn't play the heat.

And at least we're not hearing about how the Nuggets are doing.

Lets see how this can turn into NOT OVER:

Carmelo finds his April charm back, Tyson plays the D we know he can, Bibby keeps the offense moving and J.R. & Novak catch fire in guiding the Knicks to an unexpected, earth-shattering voctory over the Heat, escaping the infamous losing streak record and giving like to its fan base.

THEN

Just when Game 4 is about to start, everybody gets on their feet. The crowd starts to buzz and applaud like crazy. Walking into the court, following his words that he didn't want his game against the Heat be his last of the season, Lin joins his teammates. He plays gingerly, but gives the team a must needed spark that pushes them to an improbable win that ties the series at 2 games apiece. Cameras pan to the heat players, who look confused and scared.

Remember the Celtics. Down 2-0 losing game two in Boston by 40 points Knicks come home and win two. Take it back to Boston and win game 5 to win the series.

Doomsday? We Don't Fear No Steenkin' Doomsday!

No Stoudemire, no Shumpert, no Jeremy Lin and no positive spin. This feels like doomsday. - Marc Berman

No heart, no soul and nothing to lose. Bosh is having a baby and Jeremy was seen running full court three on three. It's all chaos and confusion as the writers KNOW the Knicks have no shot at winning this series. Hell, everyone knows it, so why do we watch?

Because anything can happen and Madison Square Garden only needs a spark to ignite a fire.

Get the ball to Novak.

Please, after the Giants' season I just witnessed, anything can happen here! 1999 lives! Only with the better outcome! A rested Linsanity, with a bionic knee! Stat with stitches and huge chip on his shoulder! Melo finally lives beyond and through the hype! Tyson looking for 11 blocks in one game! JR nominated for the NBA citizenship award! Novak vows to sign and stay no matter how little Dolan will pay!
