The tale behind Amar'e and Haslems technical was pretty funny the way Amar'e explains it:

http://www.msg.com/videos/amare-postgame-game-1-loss-to-heat-428.html

He said the two are friends and were doing some trash talking, "Haslem said he was now going to make his 2 free throws, and I said 'you're not' then we got a double tech". Pathetic!

And Lebron's flagrant flop looks even funnier when slowed down:

Don't forget that one where Melo is battling him for position, the Lebron goes flying forward as melo's elbow grazes his arm- offensive foul! Has anyone got the video or Gif of that (I think it was early second half)

how could the refs make some of those calls... dude was clearly launching himself. that was a soccer quality flop + fake injury. nearing paul p level of lameness on the "injury".

Like I said yesterday it makes me sick that everything is set up for the heat to win. we have so many injuries, the bulls now are weakened, and the refs are just the best sixth man the haat could ever hope for

Reggie Miller was the king of flopping and it worked for his whole career.

IMO, if a player flops and tricks the refs, the refs should act like men and be pissed that they got shown up. Then, in follow up games, they should make it known that they are pissed by not giving any so-so/questionable fouls to that player.

Why they don't have the balls to do this, I have no idea. Or, is this a memo that is declared and enforced from a higher place???

I don't think its so much Miami. They want superstars to get the calls whom ever they may be. And, they succumb to home crowds. Melo will get the calls in NY - we just need Gallo to teach him how to flop a bit better. He does get many FT attempts.

I blame the refs for taking away any momentum we MIGHT have had.

This is why the Cavs loss hurts. Look at The Pacers they lost to the Magic without Dwight I mean we would have swept those guys

Yeah man, after that Cavs loss , Knicks might as well fold as a franchise. They will never recover from it.
