Loved the radio, KISS and WBLS, then later 89 Tech 9 with Stretch and Bobbito. To get my video fix used to put the VHS on record for Video Music Box with Uncle Ralph McDaniel:

I'm just re-reading the story, and don't quite understand what the Spanish thing has to do with it.

If I tune into 98.7 for the playoffs on Monday, and it's in espanol, I'm going to go postal, and the font I use will hurt everyone's brains at one time.

I didn't even notice that part. It's incredibly poorly worded but I think they're saying that ESPN 1050 will be broadcast in Spanish, not 98.7

Yea, I'm thinking simulcast 'til the fall, then switch when they get staffed up and the summer marketing campaign.

WFAN is owned by CBS Radio. Their other FM frequencies are WCBS, which is back to oldies from that Jack fiasco, 102.7 (Fresh music? Wherefore art thou WNEW?), and 92.3, the former K-Rock that went talk for a hot minute. Wonder if the FAN will jump to FM before long...
